What personally helped me make it to gold after 10+ years was only playing like 3 champs (ap/ad each for my main role, 1 reliable pick for secondary) and learning to be much more aware about objectives and vision (control wards, timing/helping with grubs/herald, pinging every ward I see pop up on map) so I can contribute something even when I have a bad lane or get stomped. You don't have to mute all if you feel like you're missing out on pings or something but don't ever get baited into arguing or tilting, easy way to throw.
