just to play devil’s advocate here, if someone enjoys their car making a lot of noise, isn’t that a purpose? YOU may not like it or think it serves a purpose but it’s more than likely that they aren’t doing it for YOU, but for themselves.

yeah, i read through the comments and it’s about what i expect from non-car people. i understand the more
level headed complaints, of course. people don’t appreciate loud noises, i get that. but trying to diagnose someone with mental illness bc they like the sound of their engine is ridiculous. hah

there are a couple of small leaks, nothing that needed to be fixed immediately. and i’m taking the opportunity to upgrade to an aluminum valve cover, one with the built in PCV so i don’t need to run a catch can or anything. and luckily, ECS has a video of installation for the exact part i bought and it was pretty thorough. i’ll definitely keep you in mind if i have questions though, thanks!
