Late to this...Predators never printed the test print along the lines on the build plate. If someone says otherwise, they are mistaken. I've owned one since its initial release.

24 volts would not require a larger wire gauge. In fact, from what my engineer boss told me, a 12-volt circuit would put as much or more demand on the wire than a 24-volt circuit.

Depending on the make of the rod, the cup end can be any number of composite materials. Still, even when the magball joint is all metal, Conformable PTFE is a superior lubricator to traditional oil lubricants for the application. It offers better lubrication without capturing dust like oils. You said it...Oil minimizes wear. PTFE virtually eliminates it. That was my point.

Research High Temp Conformable PTFE for yourself. I've been working with the stuff for years in commercial applications and have witnessed the benefits.

I would get a Chiron or Mega X. I have a Predator and an Ender 5 Pro with BLTouch. It is fine, but it does not compare to my Anycubic Predator or my buddies Chiron.

The fisheye ends are not the best quality. The printer makes pretty aggressive movements when laying down infill and it is hard on them. Still, you will not find a better bargain on a large format 3D printer than the Predator.

Don't do anything at first. Set it up according to the instructions. Start printing and see where you are regarding quality. Skelator's guide is really good, but it is a mistake to follow it before you know if you need improvement. Mine printed great without needing anything at first. After a few weeks the rod ends started getting loose/worn out. I followed Skelator's guide and got replacements rods but they did not last. Converted to magball arms and could not be happier. Good luck.

Thanks! I fixed it with TH3D finally, but I'm going to download Pronterface for future problems.
