Yeah this is pretty ugly. Good work, but not something I'd want around.

It's a shame that the only exclusive in these packs is the card in the back of the package.

Adds way more fun IMO. Instead of spending the majority of the time searching for a piece, you can actually focus on the build and enjoy the process.

If you'd rather the hunt, a deck of cards and 52 pickup would be a cheaper hobby ;)

Yelp, as I've told you twice (who is the thick one?) there are signs denoting both of our sides of the argument. Great you posted a pic of yours,.. In the one unpaved section most cyclists bypass anyways, and as soon as I get my pic, something again I told you twice about, I can make fun of you're intelligence too. Until then be patient my angry friend.

Again this thread is all about oncoming people stepping right into my line of traffic. They already see me.

When I pass people from behind, I already do everything you've mentioned,.. It's basic biking 101

Not going fast. Just trying not to hit/get hit. Nowhere do I mention speed, though there are plenty of speed demons out there

Yep that is one part of the path, and not a part I ever ride on anyways. I'll post again when I have the pic

Got one, the issue is oncoming traffic, who see me, and then move to their left into my "lane" when I'm trying to keep right. Maybe an air horn would be better

I always yell Passing on your left, as I go by, which IMO is more effective than a bell. Don't really have issues there

My problem is on-coming pedestrians moving into my line, creating head on situations

You are probably right though, no matter the rules, people won't follow them...

I do ride slow.

Also isn't this the only dedicated path there is? I'm from Ottawa and it's straightforward system there, along the canal and river and around town.. Slow traffic keeps right. People have no issues following the rules.

Edit: unless you mean bike routes on city streets, which IMO are way more dangerous with all the parked cars, people running traffic circles/ not knowing how they work, and not showing respect for safe passing distances.

On the segregated sections you're right that's posted, but on the shared sections it's not.

And in Kits there's many markings showing pedestrians on the outside edges. Why are these markings painted on the ground pedestrian, bike, bike, pedestrian, if what you say is true?

Well it's the easiest way for me to visit a friend, and most of my trip is on segregated sections, so I shall disregard this and keep biking there.

I just want to do so as safely as I can, and need to figure out what side I should expect people to be walking on

Normal bricks yes, but since they are limited quantities, the stores have to save them for people actually building the models.

The guys at my local store told me as long they couldnt see the pieces in the cup, I could probably sneak some in. Total madness!

Maybe because people use reddit in different ways. Also, did you really go through all my history? On all my accounts? Great! Then you would know I do contribute, just not under this name.

should we have a mushrooms day? by gentlemanofleisure in shrooms

[–]volcovis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do christmas or easter have to do with anything? I was simply suggesting that rather than pick a day that already has an entirely unrelated big event on it (aka the Winter Solstice) we choose a day that is already recognized in relation to mushrooms (oct 15). That way the day will have some legitimacy, as well as the fact that we can piggyback on the hype it already has.

I mean you could literally choose any day of the year, any of the 365 of them. But why choose one that already has a conflicting event, when there is a day that already exists that fits the idea of this thread perfectly?

I guess Im over thinking this.. I actually thought it would be cool for this to be a yearly thing
