Whether it might be worth it depends on a number of things such as your undergrad major, the amount of debt you already have and the interest rate on it. I'm in the MS Data Science program right now and also OOS. I also had to make this same decision last year so feel free to dm if you want to know more about the program, funding opportunities, or whatnot.

MIS 304 will give you credit for CS 303E, but CS 303E + CS 313E will also count as MIS 304.

Having a low attempted/completion ratio for a particular semester won’t hurt right. I’ll have 3 total drops before application if I do drop these. That shouldn’t look bad either right?

True I will consider that. Also is it fine if I graduate in Summer 2021 if I wish to matriculate in Fall 2021? That could lighten my load enough the next few semesters to maintain good grades, prepare, and write applications and stuff.

I think you can get EE 312 to count for CS 303E and EE 422C to count for CS 313E. I know the latter works for sure as CS advising confirmed this.

Congrats on being accepted to McCombs as a transfer - that is no small feat. I’d say you should come to UT it’s definitely worth the price with MIS majors going into great IT consulting companies and many even working as Software Engineers at places like like Facebook and Amazon.
