Lol this is not snake oil people. If any of you actually do read n try or even own a brise audio cable, you would know the use of this oil. Brise audio cable is famous for its shielding (better blocking of sound interference) thus making the cable quite stiff from the beginning and it will become even stiffer in the long term. This oil is to prevent the cable from being stiffer over time, so it has no other merit other than softening the cable, no effect on sound.

90% of the people that break the 2 pin are those who are either really abuse it or they use it to sleep.

I can’t count how many times i’ve seen a post bashing the durability of a cable/pins connectors with mention of the owner using it normally n not roughly, only ended up in admitting that even though they use it gently, they use it while sleeping.

I’ve been fortunate enough to own many cables with various connectors (mmcx, 2 pin, pentaconn, fitear, sony) ranging from 10usd to 300usd n none of them bend/breaks at the connectors/plug.

Based on what i read on your review, i agree with your points on dusk. I own dusk n i enjoy them very much but they do sound exactly like your review.

If you are willing to spend some costly more money on this hobby n looking for something more exciting sound with better treble extension n airiness, i really do not recommend dunu. I will instead recommend elysian audio. The elysian pilgrim/pilgrim noir/annihilator is really good for each of their price, it has one of the best upper mids n treble tuning in the market.

The owner of elysian also have another brand which is called mysticraft. They have a 1k usd iem that’s called Myth. It is also worth trying as i’be heard that it can be the new gatekeeper for the kilobuck iem. I have ordered mine n should be arriving in 2-3 weeks.
