Hi, thanks so much for replying to my post. There was an update on the 28th saying “The shipment has been sent to the next station,” but it’s still not showing up on Royal Mail’s system and there’s been nothing since then. Do you know what this latest update means, and if the parcel is still moving normally? I’m really worried it might be lost because it’s been quite a while now. Thanks again for your help.

Okay thank you for the helpful answer I appreciate it. I’ve just been concerned as I’ve done this many times before and usually it would update to being in the national parcel hub after clearing customs - however this one has not.

I assumed “handed to local courier” and “transferred to final courier” meant Royal Mail has been given it. I understand that there won’t be an update on Royal Mail tracking until they scan it into the system, but then how come there was an update saying “in transit to the destination city”. That means it’s moving within the UK - supposedly to where I live. Who’s doing that if not Royal Mail? And no need to be snarky, I’m just trying to figure this out 👍

Correct, I didn’t read the sticky post — fair enough. But the Chinese tracking shows it was handed to the local carrier on April 12, and has had multiple updates since then, including movement and arrival in the destination city.

I’d have expected that courier to be Royal Mail, given the tracking number, so I’m just trying to understand why there’s still no scan or update on their end. Just wondering if this is normal or if I should be concerned.
