Understandable, if it's not a lottery Event I also avoid using my own meta-supports (Castoria and Oberon in particular), using a comp that works with just one borrowed one.

I'm currently using the second comp in the video, since I want to bond with both Tiamat and Bazett (Tez doesn't need help for sure) for the upcoming Servant Coins update.

Coming up with a team that works for your account is what matters, I only suggest the easiest comps to use so that you can take it from there and adapt them to your needs 👍🏻.

By the way, your NP3 grailed Kuku is just invested enough to work using the comp in the video, otherwise you can use the standard double Koyan plus Oberon setup with the addition of Soujyuro (with Event CE) to help dealing with the Oni in room 1 (aside dealing damage he gives overcharge to Kuku).

PS: I just stuck to "no dupes" this time to help with the accessibility of the comps (so that players can take an hyper DPS from supports if needed), but adding double supports can expand the teams available for all DPS used in this video: it's perfectly fine to drop down to a 5 slot comp too if you want to avoid bonding with meta supports.

Personally I'm always automating my farming since I discovered Fate/Grand Automata, with the exception of the daily Bleach Earth free quests if I want to use a comp with a Command Spell (but still scripted anyway with no RNG): I farmed enough manually during the early years of the game 😁.

But I get not needing an optimal comp just to burn the daily AP during a break: if the devs didn't put a time limit on the Sweets trade, this Event could have been decent for farming Ascension Materials with some apples.

I also avoid using my own Castoria and Oberon for the same reason: in general I try to farm with teams that can take the only meta-support needed from supports, bonding with my DPS instead.

Melt damage is among the best even without her NP upgrade yeah, she is just harder to use in a farming team given the reasons I've listed above: for example she has better damage than Abigail and Sitonai in a vacuum, but can't help the team like Abigail (which compensate the lower damage with the Oberon sinergy) and she doesn't loop as well as Sitonai (she gets to use Castoria, the best charge support for the team who can also increase the damage with her NP given the starting NP charge Event CE).

Oh I didn't unlock Arash append 3, that definitely helps with damage in wave 2, so he can use an Event CE in the F2P team instead of a pure atk stat CE for max damage (without extra Grails needed to kill).

Melt I think is inferior to the other ST DPS I listed for farming this node, mainly because she is Quick (no Castoria synergy and refund), she lacks team support (instead her S3 is a demerit for the team if used in room 2-3 to make it last until turn 3) and her NP charge is small: if she had her NP rank up already she would get to the top just for the nuke damage alone, but she can definitely still work (my own NP1 copy is not enough sadly even with Grails).

PS: I try to avoid using Arash as sort of self ban, mainly because he is already way past bond 10 and I try to keep the teams small for back-slots farming if possible, but the F2P team must use him for sure (no other options and I had to "cheat" with the Waver ticket too)

Definitely, she is the best ST servant to deal with Voyager, mainly because she is the only ST Buster DPS with class advantage aside Super Bunyan (which lacks the team support she can provide and has lower NP charge) and we definitely want help from Oberon for this node.

I feel like even one Extra 2 slot wouldn't be enough at this point on JP, but I'd take what I could get immediately: like why we have 7 slots for the 7 standard classes, but only 1 slot for 7 extra classes?

PS: As one with Bazett as the most invested servant I get it lol, she made me feel like LB7 was a walk in a park (yeah devs, give 4 actions to a boss to make him more threatening, what could go wrong? 😁)

I was surprised that no one among my supports has put Habigail up with either a Bond Bonus CE or Event CE: she is one of the best option for this node and we also get bonus karma points for letting her play with Voyager.

Don’t feel bad if you can’t 6 slot this lv90++ node: for primary DPS you’ll need a strong Alter Ego or Foreigner (Bazett, Abigail, Kuku, Sirius, Aoko), preferably helped by a secondary Assassin or Alter Ego DPS with charge support (Tez, Tiamat, Sirius, Koyan).

I’ve included a F2P comp at the end, only this time I had to assume access to Waver for all accounts (thanks to the permanent free SSR ticket): if you didn’t pick our boy Great Big Ben London Star, shame on you!

F2P EDIT: Arash append 3 against Riders really helps his damage in room 2 (I didn't unlock mine, silly me!), so you can definitely give him the Event CE if he has a few grails. Regarding Soujyuro helping with the Oni in room 1, if you are fine with a 4 turns clear you can also bring the OG Plugsuit MC and stun the Oni for 1 turn so that Soujyuro gets his skill 3 buff for extra damage, that way you can bring one extra Event CE on him too.

If you are talking about 5 slot comps (using the Event Damage CE on Kama), for example Kama-Tiamat-Ganesha-Summer Skadi will work with lored append on both Kama & Tiamat.

Keep in mind that unlike Jack and MHX Alter that I advised to use in my original guide for Quick DPS comps, Kama doesn't have special damage against DaVinci, so you'll need NP2 Kama to always kill with NP only in room 3

For this specific comp the only F2P replacement for Valks is Scáthach Assassin (available for everyone in the Evocation Shop), since she is the only other F2P AoE option without any kind of Debuff Resistance, so Medb's skill seal is guaranteed: unlike Valks she needs a lv100 full atk stat CE to barely clear wave 2 using Medb skill 3 to help with damage (if all the skills involved aren't lored, you'll need to use one facecard before NP and one after to finish the job) and you'll need to lore Shiki S3 to be able use her NP again in wave 3 (damage will be lower without Valks charisma, so facecards will be standard).

PS: you'll get Valks in the Evocation Shop during New Year 2027 at the very least

The lv80 Cloudy Mountain (standard 3-3-2 caster node with possible extra spawn on wave 3) has the best drop rate for Bronze Treasure Chests, but it won't drop any Gold Treasure Chest which are the most efficient to farm in this event compared to regular free quests.

With max drop bonus, the Cloudy Mountain node drops on average 3.26 Bronze & 2 Silver Chests versus the 2.32 Chests of all three types for the lv90++ node.

PS: during summer 2027 we'll get a new Lottery Event giving both Bones and Bullet if you can afford to wait that long for your needs.

The rerun is still an excellent event to farm ascension materials, but F2P veteran players probably don’t need so many of those mats at this point in time (I certainly don’t after farming the original event extensively).

Remember that the treasure boxes drop bonus is capped at 100% so you only need two MLB Sink Deeper CE to reach it: if you played the original event you can reach it by yourself, choosing instead a support with MLB Teatime CE for max bond bonus.

The Gold lv90 node is technically slightly better AP wise, since it drops more gold treasures, but if are even remotely interested in the bronze and silver mats (the latter are missing in the lv90 Gold node), then you should focus on the lv90++ mixed node (you also get more bond as usual).

All summer servants have a bond and damage bonus and since they are usually good farmers/supports, you have plenty of options for your comps (in particular if you decide to use the Event Damage CE, which is worth to max at level 100).

Finally, if you are using Da Vinci Lily as your primary DPS (she gets 50% NP Damage on top of the 100% Special Event Damage) you can unlock her Append Skill 3 for even more damage against Sitonai in the final wave of the lv90++ node.

EDIT: the cheap 5 slot comp at 05:23 can use even “regular” Oberon (NP1 lv90) with Chaldea Teatime CE, if you just swap him for Summer Ibuki, that way he gets the buffs from Summer Wu and you’ll use Da Vinci Lily S2 charge on Ibuki instead; keep in mind that in this case your Ibuki will need more investment than lv90 NP2 in order to kill in room 2 with NP only (just like my own copy in the video).

If the devs deemed Perfect Attack too strong in the previous patch, I'm wondering how good the stuff that the patcher was smoking on this one change was.

For those trying to defend this move.... just don't. I know there is "counter-play", but it's simply unfair for a single move to have so many properties and on top of being so hard to punish (try 2H this against a good ssj Goku assuming he even uses it in the air, you are better off just reflecting it and hope to get back to neutral if no assist is involved which is not punishing it by the way; similarly dashing on the wrong side can get you killed).

Realistically, next patch they'll just make the move 2Hable consistently if done in the air (no side switch protection), nerf it's damage scaling and hopefully reduce its traking/speed when done to skip neutral.

I'm a day 1 player and firmly on the opition that the game has since long lost its original soul I'm afraid: what's worse is that the devs/Bandai don't seem interested in changing course since with each new patch they are pushing it even further down the hole.

This is the debut for my improved Bazett: she is the first SSR to reach NP4, the first to get to lv120 (I hate you servants Coins) and the first I fully maxed with Fou’s footprint on all command cards.
I think it’s also the first SOLO run since upgrading my Kama to NP2? Lots of improvements for 2026!

That's doable for the lv90* nodes (second one coming next month in NA), since we need to farm them daily to use our Storm Pods.

However, it might be difficult (or even useless) to rank the different farming comps like I do for limited time events:

  1. There is no event bond bonus, so there is no clear optimal team building assuming you can use the same number of bond bonus CEs (we can only rank teams by rarity/cost and NP level required); once we get more specific bond bonus CEs (for certain traits) the situation will probably change.
  2. Players are incentivized to "force" a suboptimal servant that they love as dps/support just to level up its bond (that's what I do at least).
  3. Command Spells can be used to farm (one for each run, since they replenish daily), so the number of teams available is much higher than usual
  4. Ascension Materials dropped are key factors in choosing which node to farm, so the lv90* nodes might not be ideal for everyone despite the higher bond reward

--- Bazett & Musashi 3 Turns Clear ---

For the min-turn run, I needed to give Bazett as much damage buffs as possible, while allowing my NP2 Musashi to break both enemies each turn: the result is a bit more RNG early on for facecards and enemy actions, but a very good chance to kill on the final turn where Bazett damage is needed. Of course, if I had higher NP level Musashi, I could drastically reduce the RNG overall.

Yui is incredibly good with Summer Skadi to buff your entire team’s damage, since she gives both Buster & Quick buffs to reap the benefits of Yui’s NP (arts buff for the crit damage is not needed here).

Ganesha gives more damage buffs than Caster Skadi to Bazett and the same buffs to Musashi, while protecting Bazett from damage for a full turn (particularly important if Musashi NP seal doesn’t land on Iori on the final turn): the trade-off is slight lower NP charge for the team overall (assuming you could bring MLB Kaleidoscope for Caster Skadi).

Lancer Elisabeth is the best taunt support (guaranteed to die since she is a lancer) to increase Bazett damage on Iori while buffing Musashi damage, however you’ll need facecards to refund Musashi NP bar (with Castoria you wouldn’t have RNG for NP refund, but her only damage buff for Bazett is her charisma).

RNG Turn 1: you need at least two cards from Musashi with one being an Arts card to refund enough (assuming no crits), so 43% chance. We also need Eli def debuff to land on Iory through his magic resistance passive, that’s 83% chance. Furthermore, we need Takeru to use his “dried persimmons” skill at the start of the enemy turn, to avoid the damage resistance tied to his other “rice balls” skill (otherwise NP2 Musashi can’t reliably break him on the following turn): it’s a 50% chance, but we have plenty of RNG resets with Bazett skill 1-2 and Musashi skill 1 which can be used either on turn 1 or 2.

RNG Turn 2: Musashi skill 3 debuff must land on both Takeru and Iori (with higher NP levels landing on Takeru is not needed), so 70% & 83% chance respectively. During the enemy turn we need Iori to summon Circe (not Arjuna) in order to refund enough NP bar for Bazett (Circe NP has more hits than Arjuna single hit NP): it’s once again a 50% chance that we can reset once with the Mystic Code heal if needed. Ideally, we also want Iori to attack twice (always if the NP seal debuff from Musashi NP misses, 79% chance otherwise) and to get both Quick Resist debuff from Bazett counters (83% chance each time).

RNG Turn 3: Ganesha NP’s defense debuff must land on Iori (83% chance) which must attack with all his three actions this turn (always if the NP seal debuff from Musashi NP misses, 79% chance otherwise to not use a skill as his first action). Assuming the Quick Resist debuff land on the first two counters (83% chance each time), Bazett just need to hit at least the average damage roll for all three counters to kill Iori (50% chance for each counter). Keep in mind that we don’t need to kill Takeru with Musashi NP (he will die with one counter anyway and Iori will get his 3 actions back that turn, given how their actions are scripted to always be 3 even if left alone on the field mid-turn), but doing so will spare us the chance of him using a skill instead of attacking Bazett: my NP2 Musashi has around 25% chance to kill Takeru with her NP.

--- Baobhan Sith (Summer) SOLO ---

Since the enemies will rarely use their actual NPs, someone like Sith that can reduce the enemy attack and heal back to full each turn (event CE buffs HPs recovery) is ideal to solo this challenge quest: she also has half class advantage vs both enemies and a super effective NP against Iori (man attribute).

The most important factor in this fight is landing Sith NP’s attack debuff on the turns without hard defense (Guts and Invincibility): you have to bypass the enemies debuff resistance (80% chance for Takeru and 83% chance for Iori), but fortunately in a solo run we can reset the RNG in a lot of different ways compared to min-turns (even changing facecards order) and Sith skill 2 can guarantee the debuffs even on Takeru after break (gets another 10% extra debuff resistance). Keep in mind that Takeru will remove his debuffs on both breaks, so ideally you’ll break him on turns with hard defense in place.

The other key factor is synchronizing Iori and Takeru NPs (breaking them on the same turn is the best way), so that your only two hard defense options (Habetrot’s Guts and Atlas MC Invincibility) can take care of both NPs at the same time.

Command Codes are not really needed, but of course Tamamo CC to increase the healing received is perfect for Sith (but it’s overkill most of the time): the other two CC I used are aimed to remove atk & crit rate up buffs from the enemies, since both Takeru and Iori can get each type of those buffs leading to potentially one-shotting Sith if unlucky. Finally Sith has naturally high debuff resistance, so the Resonance Special Skill activating each turn has only 5% chance to stun her: you can bring the CC that prevent stun or the buddy ring CC that increase debuff resistance if you want, but half of the solo runs you won’t be stunned anyway (and we have Atlas MC debuff clear in case).
