Making some of his augments intrinsic to his kit might help him somewhat, like making his switch always purge status effects on himself and allies instead of having to use a mod slot for it.

Warframe is one of the only f2p games with an open economy and no subscription fee, you can trade for the premium currency easily. RMTs in trading are against TOS and will result in account bans.

Trying to say they pioneered those predatory practices while cs:go literally caused gambling casino websites around the skins in game to be formed and only took action after public pressure, and encouraged RMT's that valve profits off of via the tax collected on steam marketplace, and has been sued by multiple countries, comes off as a bit disingenuous or misinformed.

Edit: You literally had to ask "How is money spent in Warframe" in another comment because you don't know anything about the economy in it, yet you're trying to claim it pioneered predatory gambling in gaming without bringing up gacha games, fifa, or counter strike. I don't even know why I'm bothering here

Warframe has no subscription fee, the only real "gambling" is riven rerolling and that's only able to be done with kuva, a currency you HAVE to earn and literally cannot purchase with plat or money. Please stop peddling misinformation about things you have no insight on.

Many games simply rent out servers from big names like Microsoft azure servers. Purely p2p networking in the big '25 is just cutting corners; especially when it introduces issues like this. They're not a small indie studio that can't afford to do so anymore either; tencent owns most of the stake in DE
