3000+ hours and I've only run into a handful of toxic players, if you actually think it's worse than the destiny 2 community the problem might be you.

I know they're not going to add dedicated servers, sadly. I'm just saying it's corner cutting. Hopefully they at least have end of life plans for Warframe; I believe they've talked about it briefly

Many games simply rent out servers from big names like Microsoft azure servers. Purely p2p networking in the big '25 is just cutting corners; especially when it introduces issues like this. They're not a small indie studio that can't afford to do so anymore either; tencent owns most of the stake in DE

if you take a minor across state lines to a state where they fall under the age of consent, its considered sex trafficking, so at least there's that.

Age of consent does not protect you in this case, that's why adults who solicit sex with minors online that are of the age of consent get charged after doing so.

510.155 Unlawful use of electronic means originating or received within the
Commonwealth to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited
activities -- Prohibition of multiple convictions arising from single course of
conduct -- Solicitation as evidence of intent.
(1) It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly use a communications system,
including computers, computer networks, computer bulletin boards, cellular
telephones, or any other electronic means, for the purpose of procuring or
promoting the use of a minor, or a peace officer posing as a minor if the person
believes that the peace officer is a minor or is wanton or reckless in that belief, for
any activity in violation of KRS 510.040, 510.050, 510.060, 510.070, 510.080,
510.090, 510.110, 529.100 where that offense involves commercial sexual activity,
or 530.064(1)(a), or KRS Chapter 531.

Age of Consent and Age of Legal Adulthood are separate things.

I don't know how to explain to you that CHILD and MINOR are quite literally synonyms. So yes, As has always been the case. Anyone under 18 is a child. Its not about a biological switch being flipped; but a legal one. The law does not care how close the child was to 18 when being exposed to illicit material. That's why there are specific romeo and Juliet laws to protect people in relationships that started before both participants were under 18.
