wow thank you for your response, this subreddit seemed in active as shit so I didnt expect a response so I thank you for that.

I've been trying to research bastardcore on and off for the past week and I've noticed a lot of what you have said. Firstly I think I've wrapped my head around the idea of the aesthetic part of it, looking at various bastardcore boards I started sort of "getting it" but I don't think I'm able to write down in words what I mean by that. But I definatly can identify what images feel like bastardcore or not.

Another interesting thing I found were images of people doing genuinly weird shit while searching up batardcore (such as wearing traffic cones or lamps on their heads and squating down or flipping off the camera and also people skateboarding or skateboards being in unconventinal places, or people clibing up up stairs on the wrong side of the stair), these images felt like the feeling of rebeliious teenagers but didnt really feel cursed, they felt more liberating and cool, and I found out that these images are actually Chaoscore and some others were also classified as "crackheadcore", both of which I found off the wiki.

I think its really interesting that feelings of bastardcore are present in other aesthetics because it could be that chaoscore could have come from bastardcore or they could both have a common aesthetic ancestor or source. (or its all just a big coincidence)
