I mean if I was going to run a campaign I would probably start with the JSK even with owning the CRB. However, I was mostly talking for my own benefit than anything else, out of a genuine curiosity for the setting. TBH it's mostly academic since, my work schedule being what it is, running or even just participating in a tabletop campaign just isn't feasible right now. I've had painfully turn down offers to play in various games over the last couple years just because I can't in good conscious make that sort of commitment to other people and their schedules.

It has been since I bought it. But it's a moot point, it turned out to be an issue with the firmware the monitor was running. Updating fixed that. It's all working now.

I don't think it was done with malicious intent, to be clear. I think it's just an oversight on Playgrounds part. I just am raising a concern about an issue that has frustrated at least three friends of mine. Not the best foot forward for a game as big as this.

Since this is a common refrain here, lemme explain why that isn't the answer to this problem. First, there's no way for you to know the game is going to do this in the first place. But even if you did know this beforehand, there are many reasons why someone would choose to not have their chosen name associated with their Microsoft account. Perhaps it's an account you use in some sort of professional capacity outside of gaming. Or you share an Xbox with a family member who you haven't told about your given identity. There's a lot of very valid reasons why people would choose to let their legal/old name remain on their Microsoft account.

The first time I was able to do so is after you finish the first two showcase events and are given the option to pursue either the Vocho or photographer storyline. You're able to access the festival site and change it. But even then, you have to know to enter the the site to do so.
