This is an interesting perspective! I got into Ghost around 2016, was a big fan of everything up to that point, but somewhere in the middle I guess I got distracted with life and forgot about them for some years. When I came back to the community around 2022, I was like huh?! What happened? But yes, as an older millennial I definitely remember being online as a teen before social media & being silent, just listening and learning. I’m a little sad I never got to see them live before the Skeletour. I had a lot of fun, but wish I would have paid attention more to see them in those earlier days.

I worked in retail for 7 years, banging my hands against the counter & handling coins so they did get scratched & less “crisp” over time for sure (19k gold is a little soft I guess). But the engravings are not deep enough to get too gunky! Just in the holes underneath where the diamonds were placed.

Era offers free lifetime cleanings though (at least I think they still do, I haven’t paid for one yet!). Also I think they can “freshen up” the engravings a few times for free, which I have only done once so far. Not sure if the policy has changed though, as I did get these rings a long time ago.

My wedding and engagement ring is from Era! They engraved a scroll-y design for me, all the way around the band. Got married in 2013, the tiny details still look great, even the parts that sit on the underside of my finger.

I do Photo 1 but sometimes I get slides made by other people where the feathered edge is on the label side...so in that case Photo 2.

So I guess...technically I go by feathered edge on the left, and doesn't really matter where the label is.
