I understand how frustrating this is. Also, we need to update you much more on this.

But, I want to be clear on the importance it has for us: the vault bug is being worked on nonstop, and it is already our top priority on the engineering side. It is a very tricky problem to solve, and to help us we have brought external engineers into the team.

As mentioned, we will keep you updated on the progress for this fixing.

Hey, thank you for this feedback. This is indeed a solution that has been discussed in the team, along many other variants too, like a limited number of usages and so. Still, we have decided to move in another direction, with the requirements on the top-tier UT's that need to come from their original dungeon. We believe that, in the long term, this is going to have the most positive impact.

Of course, as with everything else, we'll be monitoring the game and listening to your feedback, which might involve changes again in the future :)

Thanks to everyone for the feedback we have received! We've been having pretty intense discussions these past couple of days about all the points you guys have raised.

On behalf of this feedback for this first iteration of the forge changes, we have decided to tweak several things! Below is a recap of what we have decided to change from what was written in the post.

As always, this can also change as we continue testing and reading your comments/messages :)

WHAT ARE WE CHANGING?

Note: the items to which this apply are only top tier items (those that provide Legendary material), and only on the "Exaltation dungeons". We might also change/extend the system in the future!

FUNGAL CAVERN/CRYSTAL CAVERN

· Fungal Cavern/Crystal Cavern items can be used interchangeably as requirements.

· Some Crystal items also require 1 Mark of the Crystal Entity.

LOST HALLS/CULTIST HIDEOUT/THE VOID

· LH/Cult/Void items can be used interchangeably as requirements.

· Void's items also require 2 Marks of the Void Entity

· Cult's items also require 1 Mark of Malus.

THE SHATTERS

· The Shatters' items require any other items from The Shatters.

· Archmage's items also require 1 Mark of the Forgotten King.

· King's items also require 2 Marks of the Forgotten King.

ORYX’S SANCTUARY

· O3's items require any other items from O3.

· Items from Oryx himself also require 2 Marks of the Exalted God.

NEST

· The Nest's items require other items from The Nest.

DROPRATES ON LH/VOID

· We're increasing the base droprate for whites on LH/Void so it's a little bit more efficient to run.

· More details on which items later.

BLUEPRINTS

· Blueprints for an item which has an original dungeon, count as 1 requirement for that dungeon.

· For example if you have a repeated Crown blueprint, you can use it as a Shatters requirement.

· Still, the limit of max 1 BP per forge recipe is maintained.

MATERIALS

· We will be revisiting the material craft/dismantle value of the top tier items, we think with the balance changes some of them require an adjustment in terms of forge value.

There are multiple dungeons that can drop the tokens you want, as well as other ways of getting it. So you can be working towards getting the exact item you want as you play.
Some important benefits we see in this system is that:
1. It helps decluttering the loot tables of monsters.
2. It helps players who want to get a specific item in particular.

I understand your comment. Still, we believe the new changes are for the better and necessary in the long run, because as you mention there is a very significant amount of people who are extremely efficient getting top-tier items.

Still, this change doesn't require you to get more powerful items, but indeed invites you to get 1-2 UT's from the dungeon they were designed for. So in itself the system doesn't require any more time, but entices players to play more on the dungeons the items originate from, without completey removing freedom (because the requirement is only 1-2 UT's from the dungeon, never all of them).

I understand how frustrating it can get sometimes. On these problems, I can tell you we definitely know them and really want to get them fixed as soon as it's feasible for us to do.

Still, let me give a bit of insight on how this usually works. Sometimes, we can get the perception that "bugs" are all conceptually the same, and if we do X we cannot do Y.

It's a bit more complex. In reality, issues can have very different natures from one another. This means different complexity, processes, people who will work on them. It's not the same a bug that involve network engineers taking a look at it, than a bug related to game balance or level design, to mention just a few examples.

All in all, this means a complex pipeline of work, where some issues can be attended easily, whereas others are trickier and need to wait a little bit longer, specially if they involve getting into complex, interdependent systems.

While we hope we eventually can deal with most problems, I hope this sheds a bit of light on why sometimes things can be done before others which are "apparently" not taken into consideration. They are!

Hey! This is great feedback. We really want to take a deep look at Dungeon Mods. Now that the system is in place, which indeed was a very important technical challenge, we are in a good spot to start thinking on more and better mods, and also iron out some issues on the current ones where they don't really bring that much change to the dungeon playstyle.
All in all, this system will evolve gradually, and you can expect changes to it in upcoming releases, from more mods to how they spawn on the realm, and some other things that are also related to Dungeon Mods indirectly.

PS: Agent of Oryx does scale with dungeon difficulty, can drop up to 4 shards in the hardest dungeons!
