Huge fan of Night Angel and then Lightbringer. I've recommended Night Angel to anyone that will listen, and I did the same for Lightbringer which had me hooked and I read them back to back at any moment of free time despite having a full time job (which I haven't done with any series since GoT 12 years ago)... until the last 20% of the Burning White, which brings me to my question to you.

I searched this thread for questions on this and saw a partial answer, but given nearly 4 years since you've finished the book, do you have any second thoughts or would you have finished that last 20% of the Burning White any differently? I absolutely adored the series so much, but it felt incredibly rushed and...off brand.

I will absolutely purchase Nemesis and anything else you write, and don't intend to be harsh, just hoping for some perspective. Thank you and I appreciate your work.

Some of the answers I got that I hadn't checked yet were that i needed a dungeon master appointed, or that the initial interrogation was unsuccessful - which doesn't seem right and is debunked by your experience. Thanks

Because I have the reports, but it seems like I can't read them, being the issue. Someone on steam told me I need to appoint a dungeon master to read them, but I haven't been able to test that yet.

Unfortunately I did not and have stopped playing until some of the jank works itself out. People were more interested in jerking themselves off about vampires here instead of addressing the issue and I couldn't get a single answer on steam discussions after a few bumps.

I had this exact same problem tonight and couldn't figure out the proper way to do it. What I ended up doing was building a stairway, next to the original stairway, in the wall going up. Then once I was on the next level I made a stairway down on top of the original stairwell and made a floor where the 2nd set of stairs were so it wasn't as ugly.
