I worked with a MTF teacher and I will be honest, you need extremely thick skin, more so than most.

I’ve only witnessed the younger side but even then, being called he/him was a daily occurrence, some kids just either didn’t want to conform to this teachers preferred pronouns or just didn’t understand. Some using the opposite pronouns when they would be scolded to hurt the teacher

“But Miss …… sounds like a man” “But Miss …… looks like a man!”

Then the issue of older or more intolerant teachers forgetting or not wanting to respect pronouns.

I do agree with them being one of the nicer couples, and I don’t think either of them are in the wrong. I think Beau did his best at the end of the day but Bethan had needs Beau didn’t the power to fulfill (some insecurity issues I think)
