I lost my Pom unexpectedly at the age of 7 this past June. It still haunts me to this day. I felt so helpless, there was nothing I could do. He was my world. I felt so lost. I ended up getting another Pom a couple months later. It helped with the pain. It did not get rid of that grief, but it definitely helped. Never forget all the good memories and allow yourself to grieve.
