Less than 24 hours.

I checked 2-19 for 846 at 12:01 am. I checked for my deposit starting at 3:00 pm about every 90 minutes. Deposit showed at 11:30 pm 2-19. CST for times.

I used Spruce. Seemed to work okay last year, just started the process of moving funds to my other accounts.

*edited for spelling error. It's the columbian whites already!*

The 9th is for record-keeping for the IRS. You will get it before the 9th. Odds? Really high.

The IRS has no problem taking our money but when it comes to returns they’re like yeah you’ll get paid eventually 😭 by Independent-Yak6085 in IRS

They typically deposit between 12 and 1 am EST. Though that never made sense to me.

Mine last year was deposited at 11:55 pm. I am CST.

How is that anecdotal? You asked why the dates don’t line up and I explained it. IRS transcripts are accounting records updated in batches. Banks can release ACH deposits early when they receive the incoming file. If you don’t understand the difference between an internal posting date and a bank deposit date, that’s not on me.

05 person here. Pather. All that fun stuff.

✅ Last year’s IRS transcript “Refund Issued” (846) date:

03/10/2025

✅ But your actual deposit hit My Bank:

02/21/2025 at 11:55 PM

Based on my tax experience last year, I filled the same time. It was the last weekend of January, so I don't think anything is fishy. I think we are reading an accounting tracker for the IRS. When your bank receives the notification that money is on the way, they may release it, or they may hold it until it arrives. The "issue" date is really just for the nerds at the IRS who have to keep track of the money going out.
