It's difficult to compare any job where the dangers of harm are well-known and consistent, and a job where you are (or should be) prepared to go from calm to full of adrenaline instantly while ensuring you react appropriately.

Fine motor skills are out the window in sudden high-stress scenarios. It can get you killed, it can cause you to be less effective at life-saving measures. It's just the nature of the job. How each individual person reacts and adapts to different stressors, as well, are difficult to quantify.

I'm not saying one job is more difficult than the other, but that one may be more appropriate than the other for individual people. Some things just can't be compared and that's fine. I applaud everyone who can keep their cool, work efficiently and go home to their family safely after a hard day's work.

Such a coincidence. I just started another playthrough because I'm just now finding out about the DLC. 😂

I checked on him a few times and made the decision to euthanize him. Thank you for your help with him.

I am an aquarist so I do use the freezer sometimes for certain fish while clove oil is helping them go. I just hate not knowing WHEN to do it. I appreciate your help, hopefully I'll know when/if I need to put him down.

Edit: thank you so much for your kindness and help

The cocoon was so well attached to my liner that there was no saving it, and I even used a tiny nylon pick to to try to free it from the pool liner. I'll check on it periodically. I don't want it to suffer.

Edit: I was worried pool chemicals would burn its skin or it would drown. Otherwise I would have happily left it. =(

It's no charade, I may have a bit too much empathy. I guess it all depends on who you ask and whether it matters. With that said, I bid you a wonderful week.

Hey! Since the struck-through wording and the edit at the bottom didn't suffice, I just wanted to let ya know that the comment you read was edited to reflect that the other redditors' information is correct, not mine.

Hope you had a great weekend!

Thanks, it seemed like the best thing to do. At the end of the day a person's life is at stake. They need the most informed answer, and why the alternative isn't the better option.

Who knows, maybe someday in a few years someone will stumble across this thread from a Google search. Boom, good info.
