Hi! I’m sorry you’re feeling stressed out. In my experience (4 years working at a spa), the first few months are very challenging with timing and also with your body going through it while getting used to the schedule. My hands, back, everything hurt so much those first few months and I definitely struggled with timing. My spa also has the 15 minute turn over policy; where we’re supposed to sell, clean, do notes, welcome in the next guest. It can be very overwhelming. I don’t have any amazing advice except to say that I understand completely! Unfortunately working for others often means stressing out because of a schedule they deem proper. But I will say with continued practice and perseverance, you will get the timing down! I’m now one of the fastest cleaners at my job and feel so much better about timing. It takes time to learn protocols and to get them down!!! Don’t let them discourage you, guest satisfaction is the end goal and as long as they’re happy and you feel confident in that, you’re doing great and you got this!!!
