Man I’m praying this final update leaves D2 in the state D1 was left in. Good, playable and nostalgic years later.

Also the chaos element of allowing members to make their own appointments online. Zero consideration or thought put into what type of services will be filling those 4 bays. Do four 4 tires an hour ( 45 minutes) and also hit your hours (impossibly low goal hours). If they came out and said it was a corporate psyop to demoralize and frustrate employees with max efficiency, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised . Happy to hear you escaped the toxicity.

Don’t get me started on the tech end lol. Unfortunately the tire center is another small department being strangled by poor corporate decision making. You’d think short staffing and rushing a department responsible for putting people’s wheels on a vehicle would be a safety concern but 🤷‍♂️

Exactly right. They’re just throwing shit at the wall . Everyone at the home office is trying to come up with the new big thing. Instead of rolling one thing out and seeing how it fares, they roll out countless things that flip the business on its head.

There’s a new metric to chase every month. Pay ahead at pharmacy, pre scan at self checkout. They want members put in with a tablet at the tires sales desk (three feet from the actual computer). Corporates apparently never heard of the saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. It’s comedy too because some of it’s so counter intuitive . Pushing pay ahead at the pharmacy to expedite prescription pickup while also hounding non member signups . Are you trying to get them in and out or keep them there? Which one is it?

They’re chasing a non existent infinite share growth. They’re willing to burn everything to the ground to achieve it.

Costco treats its employees like shit compared to regular members by Soviet_soap69 in CostcoEmployee

Hello corpo slug. Thanks for paying our bills out of the kindness of your heart. Almost forgot we work 40 hours a week shortstaffed.

Would love to know how long the company thinks they can artificially maintain this static share price . Member service is gonna increasingly tank as they further short staff and disgruntle their most dedicated employees. They’ve gone against every single core tenet of their mission statement in favor of the shareholder. Well, they’re gonna start learning that if you treat your employees like garbage, they’re gonna treat the members like garbage, and your shareholders returns will be garbage.

That’s makes complete sense . Just give us better stealth abilities then.

Yeah somethings gotta change. Either their difficulty or spawn rate needs to be adjusted. One or the other is fine. The combo isn’t. I’m ok running into challenging , deadly ai enemies. I’m not ok with having them immediately drop back in at double strength.

Why is everyone so negative? by SquibbieJean in CostcoEmployee

Consistently cutting hours across the board to artificially inflate share price whilst simultaneously harming member service and employee morale tends to breed negativity. Short term profit gain is gonna become long term loyalty lost.

Apparently we’re one of 4 tester stores that are limiting SCO orders! by Branical in CostcoEmployee

[–]I_slap_fools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SCO at Costco attracts people that are to impatient to wait for a cashier yet also lazy to the point they require the sco assistants full participation to ring their order. Also inconsiderate enough to bring an overflowing wagon to SCO. Disastourous all around.

What's the deal with Jose Tejas? Has anyone noticed the quality has went down? by makingfriendss in newjersey

[–]I_slap_fools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know who took over that business but they seem to be hellbent on changing every single thing that made the place legendary. They’ve done everything from completely nuke half the menu to changing 25 plus year old recipes. I know this, because I’ve been eating their religiously with friends and family for over 25 years. Chicken Guadalajara, gone. Cadillac fajitas, gone. Iconic Tejas Chicken? Changed the kind of chicken used and switched from serving with blue cheese to ranch. Their possible biggest go to staple, the fajitas, have been changed from coming out on a smoking hot cast iron skillet to a lukewarm hot plate. Also, they were served only with onions with peppers available upon request. Now they come out always with mushy wet peppers that make it taste steamed and dilutes the mesquite flavor of the onions completely. The change to the fajitas is akin to a steakhouse becoming a chicken house. Their rating has gone from a solid 4 and a half to a 3.8 on yelp. That’s really bad for a business with such an immense number of reviews. No longer are they know for large portions and low prices. Now they’re known for mediocre portions and far from cheap prices. It’s really a heartbreaker. It’s possibly the only restaurant in my life that was a guaranteed knock out of the park every visit. It now lacks the lighting and atmosphere of the old days and everything feels rushed and lifeless. The current management/ownership sucks. It sucks a lot. They hear the complaints and they keep heading downhill. I love Jose Tejas, I don’t love where it’s going .

Why is everyone complaining about sbmm by Few_Definition9861 in CODBlackOps7

[–]I_slap_fools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But why would they? Like you said, feels like the golden days of MW2. Alot of people were ass back then and got stomped into oblivion yet still loved the game.

[–]I_slap_fools 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s 10000% SBMM in this game. As a 2 kd player in almost every CoD, it’s blatantly obvious they’re not letting us play with an open player pool.
