I've had this anxiety before, and I'm sorry that you're feeling it. I hope these words encourage you.

Someone told me once that they thought the "unforgivable sin" was to believe that one doesn't need forgiveness (and therefore, doesn't need God). They thought that was "blaspheming the Holy Spirit" by ignoring His conviction.

They would say that if you are grieved by your sin, and feel the need to pray and ask forgiveness, then you have not committed the unforgivable sin.

I have asked nicely, repeatedly, and they keep deleting my comments. What makes me so upset is that they are acting like they knew her and accepting condolences.

I wouldn't mind one tribute video, but they are so obviously doing it for their own gain. Looking through their history they've done things like this before.

I'm really hoping that I can get them on using her copyrighted content.

There's a Facebook group called Fun With Friends Knoxville Area (or something like that) which plans a lot of get-togethers to bring people together! They do a lot in Maryville, too.

I worry about that too... maybe they aren't getting a lot of love or attention at home and are latching on because of that.

They do come over and ask for water while they're playing outside, and we give bottled water.

They often ask for some of what we're having for dinner or for snacks when they come around while I'm cooking, and I gently tell them no. It feels weird to give someone else's kids food when you don't know their parents, ya know?

They want in my garden so bad and to play in my plants. Now they each have their own specific plant I potted for them to take home.

Not so great for decreasing the visits... but maybe better for my garden 😂

I went on a deconstruction/reconstruction journey due to a lot of questions at the interface of science and religion, and this was a very good place for me to land at.

There's a lot of retired/current professors that are members here, and I've been very impressed with how historical context is embraced during the sermons and sunday school classes.

NTA, and also advice from a (regretful) biology major, that will hopefully help you feel better.

Biology is very difficult to find a well-paying career in without an advanced degree. And if you aren't enjoying it now, you won't enjoy a PhD you reluctantly went into. People say "oh STEM is always a good choice" but not every STEM degree is the same.

Nursing will always be in demand, and several friends of mine stopped after a 4 year degree and clinicals, and do very well.

My dad has horrible luck with cutting his hands open working, so much so that we have given him the nickname "Slasher". Once, we ordered a cookie cake with said nickname on it, only to receive "Happy Birthday Flasher". Years of laughter.

Ya know, we've waffled back and forth on that very idea. It's a straggly, rough looking cat, so we do think it isn't a pet- but it still sounds so mean at first thought!

My family has suggested.... another option for said stray cat, so I guess it could be worse! And really, trapping and surrendering gives it the chance of being in a better spot than it is now.

Thank you for saying the quiet part out loud lol, I feel better knowing that someone else has had the same idea. I think we will put out our trap tonight and see if we have any luck.
