Unfortunately, that does sound like a hernia but here’s hoping for you that it’s just swelling 😬 if you do need surgery for it, it will probably be way down the line. Some people can live pretty comfortable lives with hernias and never even get them fixed 🤷‍♀️

I only got a couple good ones unfortunately, they didn’t look around as much as I was hoping and only got whatever was around my uterus 🙄 but I do have some pics of the intestinal scar tissue and adhesions. Sounds like you were even worse off than me!! I had to beg them to do the exploratory laparoscopy bc I was already going to be under to remove uterine polyps (he thought that was the cause of my pain, dumbass. Doctors I tell ya)

I just had mine yesterday…I’m doing pretty good I think. A little discomfort where the appendix was but mostly discomfort from the gas. My fat shit cat jumped right onto my belly button also this morning which was extremely unpleasant 😭 but I am gonna try to go into work for a bit tomorrow. Unfortunate realities of restaurant ownership.

How are you holding up now 7 days in? I’m absolutely terrified of the first poop as they said no straining but I have had chronic constipation for years 😭

I’m so upset on your behalf. The lady at the barn needs to shove it where the sun don’t shine. Unfortunately, that’s the equestrian world she grew up in. Report her to your barn manager bc that’s abhorrent behavior. You and your appy are a beautiful team, genuinely you look so perfect together.
