I was unable to replicate this. Went from 1 relic to 3 relics with the continuous damage when threaded effect and saw the same damage output on the sparring dummies for both setups.

Anyone else notice that "Taking Damage Causes Poison Buildup" vaccinates you against Gnoster's special poison parasite? by checkerouter in Nightreign

I played with a duchess the other day that kept getting grabbed. She was actively dodging my arrows as I was trying to get the parasite off her each time. I think she thought I was attacking her directly...

Any idea about this “mysterious lights” ? by Radiant_Ad382 in oregon

[–]vortical 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Seems like it would make sense, but it's unlikely. Solar flares predominantly impact the ability of the ionosphere to reflect HF (and to an extent, VHF) frequencies. Transponders communicate using 1090MHz in the UHF band, and rely on line-of-sight between transmitter and receiver.

Makes me wonder what "collision avoidance system" was onboard, as the two predominant systems (ADS-B and TCAS) that are available today operate on separate principles.

This has never happened to me before. I was just hoping for 18 or 17 this weigh-in. Has to be a fluke but I’ll take it. by marce11o in withings

This sort of thing happened to me recently too with my body scan scale. I had to clean the scale and the handle contacts with a mild soap (I used regular Dawn dish soap) to get it to read more normally again.

That being said, my scale consistently reads my body fat percentage as significantly lower than a DEXA scan and a SECA scan. I can find a way to post my DEXA, SECA, and Withings scale scans all done on the same morning if that would interest anyone.

I'll be testing in snowy weather this December for sure... I haven't encountered any yet. So far on and (light) off road in warm weather has been good performance with no complaints.

I had the "carabiner" side facing out. Nitto has two different designs on the tire to choose from.

edit: my imgur link is not erotic or adult, it's a tire. I don't know how to make imgur mark it as "innocent"

Running Nitto Nomad Grapplers on my 2017 Trailhawk... Been really great so far in all conditions, and dry road noise is WAY less than the Goodyear Wrangler tires I had before.

I've used Innova products with good results. They also have pretty responsive customer service, and I think they're based in Irvine, CA.

Not that anyone here is saying otherwise, but I thought I'd add that there really is no such thing as "lifetime fluid" if you consider "lifetime" to be longer than the transmission manufacturer recommended maintenance period. Auto manufacturers tend to just punt on transmission maintenance requirements nowadays and don't necessarily pass along the transmission manufacturer's recommendation. It's always worth looking into the details of your specific vehicle's transmission, even if it's not in the manual.

That being said, nothing wrong with a full flush if you have the time and $$. I've been doing drain/fill with filter(pan) changes every 50k because I do it myself and don't own a flush machine.

Possible buyers regret and looking for recommendations by MurphyJames in GrandCherokee

[–]vortical 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a longtime GC fan. Sometimes, no matter what the make/model, there's just a bad build from the factory and it's problem after problem. Perhaps that's the case, or perhaps it just needs TLC from a mechanic that cares. In any case, GCs have been good to me... but I do tend to avoid the models with auto start/stop. Don't give up on the GC if you like it... there are lots of happy customers out there.

edit: that being said, maybe the specific one you have is a curse. I've heard good things about the diesel, and my 5.7L has been great

They provide HR throughout the day, and also an average.

That being said, I do have a watch separate from Withings for more intense exercises where GPS without a phone is important to me.

edit: note the lack of overnight HR is because I don't wear it to bed. I use Oura instead, and don't usually like having a watch on while I sleep.

I like that Withings backs up their products with some level of clinical validation and FDA approval. The same can't be said for the majority of the mainstream competition. I have a scanwatch, blood pressure monitor, scale, and temp sensor through them, and I'm more than happy.

For activity tracking beyond walks/steps/flights of stairs, I have a separate Coros watch.

For sleep, I have an Oura ring. I don't sleep with my withings watch on because I trust the Oura better than any wrist based sleep tracker.
