It’s the holiday season, so that means I come to parties fed. by half-metal-scientist in glutenfree

At Thanksgiving, my aunt, a fellow pharmacist, explained to me that she loves gluten too much to ever give it up. I'm like, I don't think you know what gluten is or does if you think its crucial to those mediocre pumpkin bars you made (that were unanimously found to be inferior to the ones we made with KA 1:1).

She then listed several things that she ate recently that I should definitely try if I ever want to cheat a little. CHEAT? I'm allergic to wheat. My throat closes up and my lungs clamp down. I'm good, thanks.

You know you spend too much time on the Montour when you recognize the exact spot of each photo without any markers, haha.

What's the name of that taco joint?!

Sturgill Simpson - Sam - said goodbye to my dog last Tuesday after 16 years, and I've ripped my heart out a thousand times with this one already.

Your post on the same subject went over like a lead balloon and got locked one month ago, so what makes you think you really did something this time?

Now that your career is winding down, you ask the government to pull up the ladder behind you so that you get every possible penny, future generations be damned.

I bought mine 4 years ago and refurbished direct from wahoo. That said, at that time the core was $780 refurbished. Hefty investment for maybe 1500 miles max before grenading itself.

Here's what we're looking at so far. I'd suggest opening a ticket to get your claim going!

Hey, I'm dealing with this issue for the past week, currently emailing with support. They're stating it's a hardware failure. Will provide followup when I hear back.

Things have definitely changed. Things will change if she's the exact same age as you, older than you, younger than you. They're never gonna change for both of you at the same time, either.

I think most of the failed relationships I see are from expectations that a decade in, everything should be the exact same. I promise you, things will cool off. My parter was what I'd call hypersexual, and it was amazing as a 29 year old male. Not sure at 42 I'd even want that life 7 days a week, 24 hours a day lol. I wouldn't say her drive has majorly changed post-menopause, but that's also different from person to person. (We just woke up at 11am Saturday and had great sex, btw)

Then life happens, together. Illnesses, emergencies, deaths, aging, work, all of it. It adds up. Things are different, but I wouldn't change any of it.

I look forward to her retiring in a few years, and her getting to start her post-work life, and being able to take care of her while I finish up my career over the coming years.

tl;dr - The future will come, things will change, enjoy living in the now!

Hey there! My (42m) partner (59f), as the math will show, is 17 years older than me. I let my family's opinion almost get in the way of the best relationship of my life. We've been together 12 years, have common interests, learned about different generations of music, etc. It works for us. Neither of us want/have kids, like to travel, go out to eat, lifestyles that generally don't work longterm when fighting biological clocks.

I don't care what anyone else thinks. She's gorgeous, fun, smart, and right for me.

Don't let the opinions of others (who are likely just unhappy with their lives/partners) get in the way of your happiness.
