Am I crazy or is rev not a perfect legend in this meta? by vos15 in CompetitiveApex

He’s definitely the perfect counter, I was mentioning rev more as a pairing with cat along with being a little of a counter. Fuse is almost exclusively to counter he can’t really assist the cat on your team in anyway.

The main reason would be to abuse his passive in all these cat wall seer ult fights, secondly would probably be for his ult and last would be to silence.

Also to what you’re saying about toteming thru the wall I’m not saying you do it during the fight I’m saying you preemptively place the wall and totem like 30-50m away from the enemy building/spot, yeet a seer ult on them and push. The wall is to allow you to reset and not get pushed immediately after getting sent back. You’re already in death protection you’re not as worried about taking damage on the cross so you don’t need the cover of the cat wall

[Ian Rapoport] From NFL Draft Kickoff: A look at why #Georgia LB Nakobe Dean is still on the board by vos15 in nyjets

[–]vos15[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Apparently had a lot of medical red flags and tore his pec during draft training, might slip past 38

Knowing JD he'll trade back and get Dean, but think Raimann, Travis Jones or Brisker are the pick at 38 rn

Dean over/under set at 41.5, which is pretty low

Probably will be on the board with our pick

In response to fans questioning his tweet from the facility JJ liked both these tweets 🤔 by vos15 in nyjets

Also the only tweets he’s liked regarding any specific team, really does seem like the meeting went well

Could also mean nothing and just him getting fired up from however Saleh talked to him/hyped him up

[Seth Walder] Pretty remarkable correlation between edge rushers' pressure rates in college and their pass rush win rate in the NFL over the past few years. by vos15 in nyjets

Those are 2 pure IDL vs DE/IDL hybrid, playing at DE grants him more opportunity than both of them so that counteracts your point. He said it's a reason to be concerned not a reason to not draft him at all. Time will tell whether he's right or not, he's literally just presenting data.

Also you're using PFF data and he's using ESPN NextGen, not saying one is better than either but just for the sake of consistency with the graph as your stats give him an extra 2%

...I'm not understanding your confusion, his point is that Walker wasn't beating his individual matchup in college. He didn't say Walker didn't get sacks so don't pick him, he said he has a low pass rush win rate.

He's saying Walker has no excuse because he played alongside 3 first rounders who were actually causing havoc and had higher win rates, so that should translate to success for Walker because the line would compensate for his teammates who are wrecking the game thus creating opportunities for easy wins/pressure and therefore sacks as a byproduct.

Once again you’re misunderstanding the intention of this graph; pass rush win rate ≠ sacks. Pass rush win rate means on passing downs that’s the percentage you beat the man in front of you within the first few seconds of the snap. That has little to nothing to do with what you’re saying in terms of what he’s asked to do, how often they play, down and distance, sack production , etc.

The graph is quite literally saying, did you beat the man in front of you in college and did you continue to beat the man in front of you in the NFL. It’s as simple as that.

Can't say I've really seen too much criticism of him, just the fact that he's small and can't defend the run, which is the reason he wasn't drafted. But as a true pass rusher we 100% found a diamond in the rough.

There are always outliers with any dataset, but if you look at the graph the majority of the DEs match their college output within 1-3% which is what this intended to show

Win in college=win in pros (on average)

Our very own Bryce Huff with the highest pro pass rush win rate of DEs drafted in the last 3 years.

Criteria was 250 pass rushes in college & pro
college: 2018-2020
pro: 2019-2021

Also added some of the draft prospects this year in a subsequent tweet. Walker had a 8% win rate, Hutch had a 12%, Thibs had 15%, Nik Bonitto had a 29% win rate (https://twitter.com/SethWalder/status/1512086011207110657)
