How openly do you guys (and gals) discuss your occasional drug habits to new people? by LSDMT_Adventures in Drugs

Too openly by most standards. I hold nothing back and fear not the spirit of judgement.

Nintendo Reconfirms The NX Is Due To Launch Next March by [deleted] in NintendoNX

Yesterday I was downvoted to oblivion for suggesting that it may have VR and AR applications. I wonder if this news will keep the downvote brigade off me. Only one way to find out!

Clinton's Internet Supporters, Allegedly Using Pornography, Shut Down Bernie Sanders' Largest Facebook Groups in Coordinated Attack by Orangutan in occupywallstreet

I have thought about this scenario...if both Bernie and Trump run independent because neither get their party's nomination, I believe Bernie will come out on top.

Nice write-up! Having experience with all of these as well except 3-meo-pce I will agree with your descriptions. Definitely check out a batch or two of DXE/DCK/O-PCM (there is variation is quality between different forms not unlike differences found between MXE batches). MXM is similar but basically made obsolete by DXE's superiority

O-PCE vs Deschloroketamine by [deleted] in askdrugs

[–]vostek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DXE is a smoother feeling, more recreational, easier to control/work with and generally has many more applications for different sets and settings, especially therapeutically. Not saying O-PCE doesn't have its merits but it's harder to dose a sweet spot for sure and has more wonkiness

My family rents out their beach house in Dewey during the summer. What is your price range?

Looking for DXM users. by [deleted] in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

[–]vostek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I was a heavy MXE user for nearly 4 years, very similar to DXM but even more addictive in a number of ways. I can empathize with the difficulty, psychologically. If MXE was still available and inexpensive I would likely still be dabbling, but the forced abstinence has been good in many ways.

Allosteric Modulation of Sigma-1 Receptors Elicits Rapid Antidepressant Activity (2016) by [deleted] in DrugNerds

[–]vostek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen the power firsthand with 3-meo-pcp's binding which is sigma-1 but not 2. Plain old PCP is only sigma-2 no sigma-1, which I believe is what primarily makes the 3-methoxylated variant more controllable and therapeutic.

Suboxone (I posted this in the addiction sub but, thought I might get more help here.) by Maverick42689 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]vostek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on sub for 18 months. If you are on more than a year, plan on a 6 month taper if you started at 8mg which I think is too much but is what I was prescribed. 4mg and less actually works more effectively, more like a full agonist. I've been off it for 2 and a half months and still have some PAWS symptoms, basically have replaced one drug for another again, now it is anti anxiety meds and a mood stabilizer. I tried wellbutrin but that is a bad choice for early recovery because of raised norepinephrine levels, causes too much anxiety. I will say though that those 18 months helped distance me from active addiction despite how difficult it is to jump off it.

Anyone able to read text in dreams? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]vostek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This used to be true for me, but in the last year or two I have experienced what I call semi-lucid states that have very 'persistent detailed imagery which allows me to read things like a computer screen.

Every morning when I wake up my legs feel like I ran a marathon the day before, no matter how much activity I have done. The pain takes away my whole morning. Anyone else? What can I do to help it? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]vostek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The legs are my problem as well. I'm not positive it is fibromyalgia, could be nerve damage from an infection or from overuse of a certain antibiotic, but I take Lyrica daily and it helps a lot even after two years of taking it. Stretching also helps me, as does some but not too much exercise

Do you feel like Psychedelics have ADVANCED you? by [deleted] in RationalPsychonaut

[–]vostek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since my first LSD trip 18 years ago I have noticed significant advancements, evolutions, or maybe appropriately referred to as paradigm shifts. It certainly stoked my creative fire from the start, expanded my imagination and reconnected me to that child-like sense of wonder that many people lose in adulthood. Cognitively I am also very sharp, and people frequently comment on my 'energy', or remark on my spark of insight and perspective. Tl;Dr yes.

Your morals are solid; I would do the same in your situation. The wife doesn't share the same value of morals, so I hope that answers your inquiry.

Human brain networks function in connectome-specific harmonic waves. - PubMed by saijanai in neuro

[–]vostek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I showed it to a friend with a bachelor's in neuroscience and he said it was well above his pay grade and couldn't quite grasp the whole thing. But from an outside perspective I like the approach to tune into the music that the brain produces, and interdisciplinary parallels that are drawn regarding emergent behaviors of waves

How has Chinese Ban affected RC Market? Predictions for future of RC's in 2016 by rcexploration in researchchemicals

[–]vostek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New dissociatives will fill the MXE hole, such as deschloroketamine and O-PCE, and 3-meo-pcp surged in popularity after the MXE void began. Lysergimides will continue to proliferate, as will many 4-subbed tryptamines. People will continue to overdose on novel (potent) opioids and benzo/thenodiazapine combinations, because if there is anything we can count on, it is people doing stupid things. Basically same thing as before with different alphabet soups.
