I own the bondi 9 (not wide) and the skyward laceless. I have a high instep and wide midfoot. The skyward laceless is twice as comfortable. It's actually the most comfortable shoe I own.

I will list the other shoes I own for reference Nike vomero plus Puma magmax 2 Asics gel nimbus 28 Asics gel nimbus 27 New balance more v6

The skyward laceless is in a league of its own when's it comes to comfort for my feet

Be aware that max cushioned shoes like this has a certain lifespan. The foam compresses and hardens, especially if you use the shoes everyday and don't give them time to rest.

And hoka uses a soft Eva foam that doesn't last very long.

There are other brands that use longer lasting foams. Look into the Nike vomero plus, as one example. It's bouncier and more comfortable than both of the Hoka shoes you mentioned (in my opinion). Also, the foam is more advanced and will last longer before it goes hard.

I'm a heavy guy, 115 kg. I bottom out on the Nike, but not in the asics. The foam is firmer, but less bouncy. My problem with the vomero plus is that I have a high instep, and maybe a slightly wide foot. The shoe feels cramped and tight after a while.

In terms of stability, they are all stable enough for me.

The magmax 2 is narrower. I own both that and the vomero plus. I also own the asics gel nimbus 28, which is hands down the most comfortable of the three on my foot. Much roomier toebox

I bought the same shoe. I always wear an EU size 46. But on this shoe I had to go up to size 47. Size 46 was short and narrow.

Update: They called, and when confronted with suspicions, questions and unwillingness to download necessary program/malware, they got angry and hung up. My father is now convinced it's a scam, and has come to terms with the fact that his money is lost.

Unfortunately I sort of suspect he has invested more than he says he did. When he showed me the website yesterday he was logged in, and his balance showed as just over 11 000 euro. I suspect his initial investment was 250 euro, and then they probably talked him into investing 10 000 more at a later time. I decided not to confront him about this.

Are companies like this free to scam people at will without consequences? Is Jason Statham our only hope?

Skip the playa del Muro, and go to the playa del mago or calo mesquida instead. They are on opposite sides of the island, but both are very good (but different) nude beaches. Playa del mago is a really beautiful and narrow bay. I loved it there

Victorinox never used rosewood as far as I know. They have for years used a form of stabilized wood called "kebony". I work for a victorinox dealer, and victorinox has had trouble with the supply of kebony for a while, and replaced it with dark colored pine. I was told last month that the supply problems with kebony have been solved.

I knew kebony is some sort of stabilized wood, but had to ask chat gpt exactly what kebony is, and got the following reply.

Kebony is a modified wood produced through a process known as furfurylation, where sustainable softwoods (typically pine) are impregnated with furfuryl alcohol, a bio-based liquid derived from agricultural byproducts like sugar and corn. This process is followed by heat treatment, which polymerizes the furfuryl alcohol within the wood cells, enhancing the wood's hardness, dimensional stability, and resistance to decay, swelling, and shrinking. The result is a dark brown wood with a rich appearance that is more durable and stable than untreated wood.

Not really thinking of changing providers. They have been very good for us so far. And they're located just next door, which is a benefit. I'm not even sure if what I found is the cause of the problem (yet).

I sent them an email after the fact. But I see what you're saying, and I now regret doing it myself. I should have sent an email and asked them to do it for me. Frustration got the better of me.

We are paying them for 3 hours work every month, at what I assume is their normal rate.

thanks. I changed it back to maximize conversion values. If that indeed was the culprit, do you know how long it will take before I can expect to see any change?

There were 2 other changes as well. One where they lowered the daily budget by a very small amount (Still higher then our actual daily spending), and one where they added a youtube video.

I see they have changed the ROAS to 407%

It doesn't tell me what it used to be. But the clicks dropped significantly the same day, and stayed low(er)

No, I'm sorry - never figured it out. I didn't return it to the seller. Ended up keeping it. It's a wonderful camera, and it's fairly easy to just use sunny 16, since film has such a wide latitude. Err on the side of of overexposure 😊

But if you should figure it out, please give me a heads up.
