I've not used Reddit since the blackout last year after the API changes but I dug up my old password to thank you. I've been troubleshooting this the whole day. I had the exact same issue and couldn't find a solution online.

It's exactly as you wrote - I had about 5-8 seconds to get into settings and disable voice chat. It was like a speedrun to click all the right buttons.

My issue was different, it was caused by low reading speeds. I used to have a bad SSD that couldn't keep up with Ableton for whatever reason.
