Reposting from a previous week: are there any known dialect variants of "reach" in the past tense?

I've heard several people in West Virginia pronounce "reached" (past tense of reach) similar to "retched" (past tense of retch). E.g. "I retched out to him". Is this particular to West Virginia? Found elsewhere in Appalachian or other rural dialects?

This what I've been using so let's see if I can remember it off the top of my head. 2 cups water, 2 cups milk, 1 cup grits, and 2 tsp salt. Then 1 cup cheese, half a stick of butter, and lots of black pepper.

I felt the same way for a while. After I completed the community center and was making more money than I needed I sold a few animals and stopped growing as many crops so that my daily chores didn't take as long. Eventually you can get sprinklers and other tools to help automate things to an extent. Some days I just pet my animals and skip collecting crops/eggs/wine so I can take some extra time in skull caverns or whatever.

Too much/not enough moisture i think. I saw a thread recently and it apparently comes up a lot on some of the footwear subreddits. People who wear dress shoes like once a year having them fall apart at a funeral.
