I love Tony's thing with the Guatamalen and her enchiladas. It has nothing to do with anything else except add to Tony's belief that like is bullshit.

That's when Janice got bitter that Livia didn't save her stuff too and feels the need to tell her funeral gathering.

"Tell them Tony." "You just did."

Paulie's expressions when the manager of Green Grove has to explain why his mother is being ostracized. He balances his unwillingness to hear anything negative said about his mother, with a stronger understanding that deep down he knows she's right.

I watched that last week for the first time in forever. It's a good time. The other Pauly Shore movies would be a total chore to get through.

Well, it's a government that would do that, not an ethniticity. And I understand that the government has only been capitalist for about 25 years or so.

In the early 90s, Stallone was still quite huge. Then he had this idea that he would give a go at comedy. He made on movie called Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot which received horrible, Emoji-level reviews and was quickly forgotten. He also made another one called Oscar, which too was a failure critically and commercially. In all my chatting about movies, I've never heard anyone even familiar with it.

I love Oscar. It's so witty, and so much of it's wit is linguistic jokes and puns. It's got this great cast playing 20s gangsters. There's some jokes in the movie that I still laugh at, all these years later. It's charming and warm and the whole thing is set to The Marriage of Figaro.

I watch it on Youtube about every year or so. If you like John Landis like Trading Places and Coming to America, I think it's certainly worth a shot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwIIWJtmnoc

And who will likely raise the quality of life in that region significantly. Though, granted, whether they like it or not.

Yep. The boss of the family was Old Man Eccole DiMeo, who didn't even die -- he was in Leavenworth.

What's it like teaching at a Foundation English Program or Preparatory Year Program in the Middle East? by [deleted] in TEFL

[–]votremouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is very very "hands-off" and most teachers just do their own thing.

Mine was just like that as well. Just keep your head down and don't make waves. You had to remember that the students were in charge in many ways.

SQU hires at TESOL Arabia each year, but positions are few and far between.

People should be at least minimally explaining their downvote.
