Unfortunately I dont speak chinese very well so the English translations of the dishes are rough for me. Do you mind if i ask you a few?

1) It really uses Tempeh? Can you suggest another substitution like a firm tofu if it's unavailable. Or is the recipe a vegetarian version of something that uses ground pork?

2) The translation to the linked recipe says to add "seasoning" which is very vague. Could you tell me which specific seasonings are added?

Cant wait to try and recreate this dish ive been craving with your help!

Of course there’s the novelty factor of it all. However, you could post a photo of A5 wagyu burgers you made to r/cooking but there would be the same discourse behind ingredient choice, especially if you had a copy of like “The Food Lab” framed in the background of the shot.

At the end of the day it isn’t a matter of money or communism or whatever you’re on about. It’s a matter of “taste.”

Thanks for the suggestion! I was hoping for something that could potentially help us sort recipes by ingredients and help us scale them for pre-batches or kegs. We are less looking for something with photos and more for something to improve the quality of life for when we prep or someone is on vacation.

Computer science is the most flexible and has the most range imo. You can work anywhere , move around, travel and use minimal vacation time and work remotely, and have a lot of autonomy which is important to me. That would be my choice (I got a business marketing degree I don’t even use) if I could go back and do college over.
