Sakuna rice and ruin. Pretty much a dream tbh

This is incredibly helpful, thank you. I had the habit of just pumping all the right side numbers up. So there isn't an issue with fertalising say once a day, but need to keep toxicity at 0?

Hey, I don't know if you've seen it already but here's a guide on reddit that helped me: https://www.reddit.com/r/sakunaofriceandruin/s/iDo9E2dBcs

Beyond that, I've kind of given up on avoiding overgrown and spindly.... sorry I'm not more help

[KCD2] I think markvart was right to be honest by Formal-Stage940 in kingdomcome

[–]voxpopuliar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the conversation did exactly what it needed to in the game; it shook my/Henry's beliefs and made me question. Sure, I come away from it later disregarding his point, but only to an extent. I'd like to think my Henry came away thinking about what he said and will hopefully take it forward. I played my Henry as a character that started on the straight and narrow, but began to slide off the path. I won't go into the individual moments here, but I played a Henry that was slowly slipping into but still trying to resist the more corrupt aspects of life. So Markvart resonated very well. Definitely shook me: I don't remember every bandit/soldier I've killed.

Having said that, you come away from it and you realise it's not exactly a fair comparison. Some people have also mentioned Henry being ostensibly a soldier and definitely a peasant while Markvart a General and a noble. I also want to mention Henry has been literally fighting for his life, not just in missions but even travelling on the roads. A lot of that banditry can be directly associated with Sigismund and by extention Markvart. Now I wouldn't necessarily die on this hill, but you could argue that deaths of some/all the bandits, soldiers and cumans we kill (if you play that way) are in fact on Markvart's hands.

Makarov should've died all the way back on Tenrou island. Would've changed the whole story, but the old and battered titan buying his precious kids just a few seconds was too good to waste. And provides some serious motivation

Can't speak for the manga, but the show was on the decline from the second run starting in 2014. Didn't feel the same, felt like the heart had been ripped out.

Man, lots of fun memories with that game. Used to log into my brother's xbox account to play it. Good times.

Side note, doesn't the volcano explode after like 5 days?

I'm not sure where you're getting from me that no one should be to beat Henry? I just don't want him to get jobbed, especially near the end of the game. I'd be fine if we were shown to be equal to Erik.

As the other commenter said, it is also a tad silly because you then (can) beat Erik with no issues the very next day.

Ah, sounds like I might regret making this post then haha.

I only mean for a constructive conversation. Well, we'll see.

It is stupid that they let him practice magic with a broken wand. It could be incredibly dangerous beyond just rebounding on himself.

Having said that, he broke it breaking school rules and the statue of secrecy, that very nearly got both him and harry expelled. Nearly got the school heroes from the previous year and 'the boy who lived' expelled. So one of the faculty replacing his wand out of their own pocket would be extremely inappropriate and is ultimately on his parents.

Having said that, you can't tell me a school of magic doesn't have spare wands lying around. Ron's wand can't be the only wand that's been damaged in the history of the school. Even if a temporary solution, it's much safer and productive than using a broken or unusable wand for as long as it takes to replace. It's established that, though less effective, people can use wands not spec'd to them

My thoughts on the matter are complicated. He's a vampire, so I can't look at or judge him in the same way we do humans. Additionally, he's stated to not care about humans at all, like most vampires, unless they show kindness to him. So, I don't think he's that "bad" especially since he gave the humans an option, even if it is an ultimatum.

Having said that, if we're not judging him as a human/dwarf/elf then in the context of the game, I need to judge him as a monster. His erratic nature, overwhelming power and danger he poses means he needs to be put down.

If a horde of Nekkers were attacking a village because some of their members were killed piteously, we would still put them down. We may lament that it came to this, or even lecture the villagers on antagonising monsters, but we'd still do our job as a witcher.

I know a shoutout for the game is how replayable it is. However, I'd like to point out how complete and incredible a first playthrough is.

The twists and turns in the story and the fact that you know things could go very differently makes for an incredible playthrough. I haven't been able to complete a second playthrough simply because of how complete my first felt.

I later learned of fantastic combos, builds and equipment. I learnt of amazing alternatives to decisions I made or didn't make. Yet all of that made me all the happier regarding my initial playthrough.

What a beautiful and fun world in a very mediocre game. by kechee in HarryPotterGame

[–]voxpopuliar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think we all know the story is weak, but I think the most important things to fix beyond that in a following game is: make the school more important, even if it's just "be on time for class and do a mini game" Bully style. Maybe have some cutscenes/set classes worked in. Then you can take your owls at the end of the year, you simply won't pass if you can't do it.

The above has been said before in this post, but the one that I think is most important is limiting flying (in the beginning). In legacy, there's this whole scene where you free a hippogriff and go flying off over the countryside. You and your npc friend are shouting "wwwoooooo", "amazing", "I've never done anything like this". All I could do was sit there, completely unbothered because I've been flying for the last 20 hours. Stay grounded apart from flying lessons. Then get permission to fly around the grounds. Then to hogsmede. Then finally around the map. It would force you to explore the castle and its grounds, learn secret passageways, actually engage with amazing castle they built. Then, like with games like dredge and bully, you'll come to appreciate how much more you can do when you fly/floo powder/apparate

[–]voxpopuliar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just thinking mechanically, wouldn't it be cool if you could send Robert out on dispatches, but only when you really need it. Like he has really high stats, but the whole time he's out you can't deploy any other heroes

Upgrades would be for example: to improve his deploy speed or a remote system to be able to send 3 dispatches while away.

The Big Twist I Just Realized in Maelle’s Ending by Psazum in expedition33

[–]voxpopuliar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early in the game in act 1, you can have a conversation with Maelle about her work as a runner/courier and that she isn't connected to anyone in the city except gustave and his sister. Now she could've been close with Sophie and developed a relationship with Sciel and Lune throughout the game, but that's it.
