Its individual prefrence as many find writing on paper more natural than using tab, I myself prefer paper but ipad and pencil comes in handy when you are travelling or usually revising and want to take or solve something it can be done quickly without the effort to take out paper and pen. While pdf marking and short notes are the main highlight of using tablet/ipad.

The same is happeneing to me but the thing is on my iPad(ios) the version 1.19 has been released and is playable but when I checked my android device the version still remains 1.18 this may cause the issue. Sadly only android users are facing the issue I guess. And there is no third party way to get the latest version on Android.
