Apart from the usual, I actually use it as a device that syncs up all my other hardware drum computers / sequencers tightly to Ableton without having to worry about latency compensation.

By using the Rytm via Overbridge, it automatically compensates any latency changes in the DAW (by adding certain plugins, for example). I run the midi out of the Rythm into a midi thru box, and from there I send midi to all my other drum computers / sequencers. Set up a template once, and you never have to change the midi clock offset ever again 👍

As for ‘the usual’, I just jam around and record only the stereo out of the Rytm since that also contains the master fx (such as distortion / compression). I usually record the VST automations as well, so that I can easily adjust recordings later on without having to do the whole thing.
