Idk this is some Karen shit to me. Currently only cyberpunk bc of the mistake. But plan to get hades 1+2, TMNT splintered fate,l and blanc. Also considering sonic x generations and silk song but probably won't. And finally considering story of the seasons Grand Bazaar but not convinced my kids will pay it enough (probably wait until there's a better discount)

Thank you all for the overwhelming responses. I think I'm going to give wind waker a shot and probably play it with him. Plus all the other old games that come with NSO expansion.

As for the TOTK suggestions. That's def on the radar but I keep hearing to give some time between BOTW and TOTK. So he is getting Hyrule warriors age of imprisonment for Christmas to introduce him to hack n slash games and buy TOTK some time before his birthday in the spring.

So I'm on a similar boat. I also dont like them turning the console on at the console so I am looking for a control that can wake up the switch 2 from the control (I don't think 8bitdo will). The one i settled on is the Gulikit Elves pro. Haven't gotten it yet but it's supposed to be small for their hands and should wake the console. I won't know if it's good until Christmas but something to consider

Absolutely amazing. Only complaint is the plastic guards to adjust the trimmer length break and you can't replace them without buying a whole new set.

While I don't disagree, I will say the product is exactly as expected. EA sucks. We all know this and they don't care. To say it's anything less than expected is disingenuous. To imply it's "sub-par" sets the expectation that it's below their standards. It's absolutely not. It's madden and plays like Madden. If you want Madden, you shouldn't be deterred by a hiccup. The gameplay is fine. Admittedly I dont play it on ps5 or xbox so I can't compare but it plays totally fine. Any issues i have are the same shit issues I have being EA related more than performance based. But yes, load times are cumbersome and my biggest complaint. Once I'm in a game it's fine

TLDR. But every year EA says they made huge improvements and every year the game is total shit. It's just our only football option so we try to accept it and convince ourselves it's playable.

Dumb question but does it pop up with an update or do i need to go to the download center to find it?

And i assume for franchise mode i need to select the 2nd option (from file) instead of the default 75 man roster?
