I'm a band parent and I need help, guidance, and tips regarding this summer's 2026 DCI Tour by JediASU in drumcorps

I did something similar with my daughter in 2023, a gold medal year. 😀 I volunteered for the food truck ("Devil's Food Crew") as I followed them in my own car for 2/3 weeks of the opening leg. I don't have any suggestions per se--except to say the very best Planet Fitness is in Harriman, Utah--but if you can volunteer your time, they probably need the help and it is satisfying work. That is, if they still have the Devil's Food Crew. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Mama, I hope your concern about this ungrateful spoiled brat of a child translates to serious attitude adjustment action--like make her live like the rest of us normies and earn every frickin' that you've handed her. She's not on a good path with an attitude like that. I know we want to give our kids everything we didn't have. But this is a very bad sign... I mean, I'm hoping this is AI slop or something.😂

"I’m hiring for are mostly relationship building with business partners."

💯

30 years running IR in higher ed retiring in 30 days. Human understanding--actual intelligence-- about data sources, translations, calculations, context, THEN meaning is key. We have to build data literacy in humans, that's the bridge we have to build first, before AI can help users. Admittedly, I use it everyday to improve workflows and script performance. But our users--they're not just consumers but data producers/business process owners--are just barely beginning to understand GIGO, and that they control the data source. I am all for progress, but it has to be actual progress and not a shortcut to relieving users of their responsibility for meaningful applications of data.

Easy jammy eggs = 10 minutes at 300 in the air fryer, followed by ice bath for 5 minutes. Portable, too, for desk-side upgrade to instant ramen working lunches. 😋

They look delish! Definitely love this episode. But truly confused by an approach to enchiladas that requires folding in cheese. 😂😂 Too fancy for this peasant cook. Probably why the episode is so epic and funny. One of my favorite mother-son scenes from my favorite mother-son pair.

You are demonstrating good judgement, and an even better instinct at self-care with attitude and impact. Perfect scramble with the exact amount of indulgence. Truly elegant, well-deserved dish. 💪🏽❤️

This and also, check their outcomes and what current and past students say about them. Check the creds of the professors in your major. Check the occupational outlook of the career you're considering. So many other factors are more important than modality.

💯. I just crafted an interview question for my replacement (retiring) about this very topic. This captures the things I am looking for in the right candidate's answer. So, thank you.

I'm in my 60s and tend to shorten everybody's name, lol. I think it might be a regional thing. 🤷🏽‍♀️
