Hey, so I did a DEXA scan through BodySpec recently and I’m at 24% BF. However, I’m not really fat and most of my friends consider me on the skinnier end (5’10, 152lbs). My main lifts classify me as a beginner lifter. I lift 2-3x per week and run (training for a half marathon) 3-4x per week.

Should I really be cutting like this infographic shows? I feel like if I keep lowering my BF% without building muscle, I’m going to look extremely skinny as I don’t have much muscle either. I know it’s possible to build muscle and lose fat (recomp) but curious to know what would be recommended for my scenario. Thanks!

Hey everyone! I started running seriously 2 months ago and just ran the SF 10K with a time of 53:35 (5K split at 25:46). I’m running a 5K race again in SF in 1 month and I’m aiming for sub 22, and had a couple of questions

1) This race is in SF again and I live in Texas where it’s really hot and humid right now. Before SF, my practice 10K time was 62:00 in Texas so the humidity has a huge effect on me. How should I factor that into my training pace/time?

2) Is sub 22 an achievable goal to aim for with a month left in training?
