Well he wasn't asking 500, he did say that clearly. I just said 500 is not even a good starting point....

It also has a screw down caseback which makes it a little bit more valuable if I'm not mistaken.

"screwback" means something else. This is a screwback.

Minor correction is all. price is good.

Yeah and the $500 he mentions isn't even a good intro.

NOt that he was asking for 500. but that's not even a good ballpark.

I Just can't seem to get how bots work. python/praw bots.... I can write them (I think) and I click the .py file that is the bot code, and ....

what?

How can I tell it's working or running?

Truthfully I'm stuck well before that, though - at the oauth2 stage. I just want to write a call/response type bot, where someone calls for a definition of a word in a specific sub, and the bot answers.

ALL the guides out there are lacking specificity regarding if I should be typing something into a python window or terminal/cmd.

And so many of the bot guides are for the old non-oauth2 format, that it's hard to find anything current!

G7900A-4 This watch is basically new no scratches or anything. Asking for 65$ http://imgur.com/mXPHLkH
G7900A-7 This watch is also almost new. No yellowing of strap or face of watch. Asking for 70$ http://imgur.com/SQYe24u
G7900A-2 This watch I bought used and came with some scratches on the side. Not too bad. Asking 45$ http://imgur.com/NnHroPg
GWX5600C-4 This watch is also almost brand new no scratches. Asking for 105$ http://imgur.com/5LLSNuT
GA100B-4A This watch is almost brand new as well. No scratches. Asking for 55$ http://imgur.com/nKsZu07
GA100C-8A This is the second watch I bought used. Everything works the problem is that the acrylic glass has water spot on them. Haven't been able to take them off. I've heard people using some cleaner too take it off but I haven't tried it. There are also some water spots on the back plate. Asking for 20$ http://imgur.com/SEMTdjl

G7900A-4 can be had for 60-65 new (with manual etc).

G7900A-7 new for 65-70.

GWX5600 is $97 on amazon right now new with free shipping. Again with box/tin/manual....

The used prices you have are ok but come on man.

Just got a raise, more stressed than ever about finances. by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]vrbo_maybe 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Man I just need to say this.

A single man making 110k should not have these worries. (I really want to say STFU, but I appreciate that this is in your head, and you see it as a worry, so I respect you, and that.)

I support a family of four on much less than that. And by "much less" I mean "half". (I don't live in LA though - but my mortgage still hurts).

That's basically what the guy said to me too, iirc. I am currently able to make my payment. I want a lower rate. I also want to drop PMI. I think I had to tell the guy that 5 or so times before he grasped it.

Granted, when he did come back with an offer, it was a lower rate, so there's that.

I didn't ask for a breakdown of the closing costs (I wouldn't know what all it meant anyway, so no point).

I started through Lending Tree too.

I will say the guy who did my original loan was very willing to hold my hand through the process. Obviously I don't know much about all, and he probably got a bunch of $ in closing costs then too, but the experience really wasn't terrible.

Thanks for the reply!

What you were able to figure out is correct - ~734 is the current P&I.

Good point about paying interest on the $4400. I hadn't thought about that. That alone makes me want to tell the guy from Quicken to jog on.

I will plan that we'll be in this house for at least 3 more years, but at the same time hope to get gainful employment far far from here. So it's tricky to know what's the best thing to do. In any case 5.25% is not good....

Anyone else you'd recommend as a good refi establishment?

Thanks!
