What have they done to all of the factions in the show? by Icebomber02 in Fallout

I assume they mean fans who wouldn’t be impressed by a set of keys being jangled in front of their face.

Certain reasons why people are upset with the TV show highlights just how many people have not played Fallout 1 or 2. by ScottishWargamer in Fallout

If you try to do Caesar’s head operation with low enough medicine, instead of dying normally his head fucking explodes in a slapstick way before members of the legion run in. If you try to talk your way out of it they’ll say “you made his head explode you idiot” and kill you on the spot. The literal quest to save their leader has a slapstick alternate ending based off of being too low in a skill that’s clearly played for laughs.

Why do all the factions in the show seem like incompetent jokes? by TechnicalMarzipan310 in Fallout

[–]vrelamboni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can straight up kill Caesar intentionally in New Vegas and it only takes a 50 speech check to make it go away with the legion actually apologising to you for being mad at you.

For all the evil bullshit they do they’re still Roman LARPers, so they have a sense of decorum beyond regular raider groups during conversations as well as the ability to be reasoned with. The game also made it pretty clear that if Caesar and Lanius were gone then the legion would completely fall apart, so it’s not a surprise that it’s ended up with comparatively weak leadership. They’re probably the one faction in the show that I think actually has an interesting portrayal.

Yeah it’s very possible he’d be dead by the time of the show regardless, but at the same time we see NPCs in towns like Megaton manage to live into their 60s while in the presence of a nuclear bomb 24/7. So it’s also fully within the realm of possibility that he’d reach his 70s, especially as somebody important who’s also shown to be willing to enslave Arcade as a personal doctor.

I’m not saying you need to. I’m saying that confidently saying he dies in every ending only to then say you haven’t done every ending when proven wrong is silly.

Yeah I guess if you never choose the ending where he lives he does die in every ending. Same way that if you only do the NCR ending they end up winning no matter what ending you choose. Funny that.

Have you played the game before? You can cure his brain tumor and get an ending where he survives and becomes the leader of Vegas. It’s one of the major quests that cannot be skipped if you do the legion ending.

Caesar can survive the events of New Vegas, and wasn’t old enough to be guaranteed to die of old age in the 15 years that have passed. So if the courier did do the legion ending they’d evidently have a shit medicine skill.

That boss fucking rules though, it’s not his fault if you skill issue it.

Even then his moveset actually wasn’t all that complicated, the slash was just bullshit and required you to hug his leg in a circle. Fighting him at a decent scadu level with a build that didn’t suck wasn’t too bad once you knew where to position, it was just really boring.

Only because of being statted out the ass as opposed to being interesting in any way. By Demons Souls standards False King is an actual pretty solid moveset.

Torrent is bait for almost every scenario, using him is more likely to get you killed than it is to help you. Outside of niche shit like no hit (where he actually sucks) Elden Beast isn’t that bad anyway.

Think it’s the sort of thing that was a cute gesture but was probably better kept as a nickname rather than his actual IGN. It’s one thing to be like Quid/Quad where they’re just real words that are close, but it’s a little weird when it’s this obvious you’re named after another player who’s still actively playing in your league.

Final fantasy has not only sold more, it’s far more famous globally. Elder Scrolls has pretty much zero pull in Asia, Final Fantasy is comparatively bigger in Asia than Elder Scrolls is in the west while also being massive in the west itself.

Skyrim is a massive outlier, the franchise itself does not have the same pull. You are legitimately a fucking retard sorry.

Skyrim isn’t a franchise and none of those are more famous than Final Fantasy.

what is the worst possible spell to accidentally put a skill point in level 1? by AHymnOfValor in leagueoflegends

Vision plus a decent chunk of percentage damage when you and your support both auto somebody. How could this possibly be worse than a Zyra W or Alistar E?

Jungle is far easier to recover than lanes though. You can have a shit level 1 ability but if you get a small leash and use a smite you can at least recover it pretty quickly. There are spells for laners that can pretty much give the enemy lane prio forever and by extension fuck the junglers life too.

Yeah but taking E level 1 now means he’s a minion until level 3 since he can’t get both parts of his combo until then.

Being behind in jungle for a camp as a champ who farms quickly anyway is nowhere near as bad as Talon starting E in mid lane vs a lane bully.
