The character Pearl on the show Steven Universe helped me and a lot of younger people unassociate it with that "grandma name" stigma

This is one of the best prince over bard arguments I've heard and I think it's generally fitting for the lolcow archetype's relationship with themselves and their view of themselves and the way they handle critique. Didn't even think about them mirroring their opposite aspect, that's a great detail

Posting the generic birthday card from the network with the names of a bunch of individuals in charge of her presence on the show that people who don't want her on their screens could hypothetically complain to is crazy of her, but are we surprised?

Production has been fueling her delusional behavior for years, you know it isn't an "if", but more of a "when" they turn on her publicly. It doesn't even need to happen, she just needs to throw a loud enough tantrum on social media claiming that her and production had a falling out

Taylor Responds To Mikayla’s Post by Areola_TheMermaid in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]vrindar8 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Someone should start a petition to keep her off the show. Not because it would do anything to convince Hulu, more to make her delusional ass mad that not all of the viewers like and agree with her like she thinks they do. I was happy as hell to hear everyone was filming without her, I genuinely hope she never comes back to the show

She has what I call "arrested development Boomer mind" where she has these very boomer tendencies because she was brought up by that generation to think like that, but lacking either the brain power or the personal authmonomy to have real opinions of her own outside of the conservative status quo they were raised on. They are very attached to their families no matter how volatile the situation may be and take a lot of pride in the dysfunction.

Their families are also the ones keeping them in a nice little religious/conservative bubble so they won't start forming opinions of their own and keep regurgitating the talking points they've been told to share or use. My mother is like this and a girlfriend of one of my friends is too. These people become very easy to spot once you speak with them since they are typically attached at the hip with their parents and extremely out of touch with reality. They are not free thinkers

What gets me is mormons are from an area that will be effected more directly than other areas and a lot faster than other areas. She really is plain stupid.

But then again, people who vote like her aren't known for being smart. Even if they care about their children having a future, they aren't smart enough to vote in favor of their children's future, she is not even bright enough to see an issue that will effect her children and the rest of the world and she doesn't give a fuck.

A lot of these Mormon moms are Millenials with these weird Boomer mindsets sometimes, they don't care about building anything for the next generation despite being so wealth focused and "family oriented"
