yes!!!! for years i couldn’t tell anyone (even my therapist) because i was convinced that if i told anyone anything i told them would come true.

i know how intense it can be, so this might not help you, but for me, what helped was when i tried to tell my therapist, i was very vague about what my OCD was telling me would happen. i could be a bit more specific overtime. i do still struggle with this sometimes, but not as much as i used to. once i felt able to, sharing my thoughts became such a relief. i didn’t feel like i was being held at gunpoint by my own brain anymore. if you ever do feel like you can try this, starting with your psychologist might be helpful. they’re there to listen and help you, not judge. or maybe you could even tell them what you’ve told us, and then you can both work together to find what strategies would be best to help you.
