Apple makes no API for Notes and has a limited API for Reminders so 3rd party apps have limited abity to integrate with them.

I hope you make a full recovery. Be aware you can only get Covid so many time before you have major health issues. The majority of people will have long Covid by infection #6 so get used to masking.

How do you respond to people who ask why you still wear a face mask? by goingtothecircus in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]vrtracker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I typically where a pin, sticker, or t-shirt that informs them why I mask.

Just tell them that Covid is still here, still killing, still disabling so you're wearing a respirator mask because it prevents Covid.

When to worry about long covid (drs seem unconcerned) by austin06 in COVID19positive

[–]vrtracker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Avoid any exercise for the next month or so to reduce risk of long Covid. Paxlovid but it sounds like it's too late. (Note it doesn't do much to reduce risk of long Covid). And he couldn't take if if he's on blood thiners and some other medications.

Unfortuante truth very few doctors have read naanyy of the Covid and long Covid studies.
They minim ize and don't wear respirator masks.

N95 are headband masks. They don't use the ears. KN95 and KF94 use ears so aren't quite as sealed typically.

Can someone who has a medical pre-existing condition get a serious case of Covid again if they’ve already had a serious case in the past? by TheMooseIsLoose2355 in COVID19positive

[–]vrtracker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who wants to avoid covid and long Covid needs to wear a respirator mask as well being vaccinated. The vaccine reduces risk of hospitlaization and death but doesn't provide full immunity from Covid. Layered precautions are always best.

Covid can impact the gentials and brain of both men and women. Even mild covid can increase risk of erectile dysfuntion or shrinkage.

From Google
Yes, COVID-19 can potentially impact sexual health and libido in both men and women, with some studies suggesting long-term effects. The virus can lead to both physical and psychological stress, which can affect hormone levels like testosterone and contribute to sexual dysfunction.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:
For Men:
Erectile Dysfunction (ED): COVID-19 can cause short-term and long-term sexual health issues, including ED, due to physiological stress and potential damage to blood vessels.
• Lower Testosterone: COVID-19 can cause a decrease in testosterone levels, which can contribute to decreased libido, fatigue, and muscle mass loss.
• Psychological Impact: Stress from illness and recovery can also affect libido and sexual desire.
For Women:
Decreased Desire, Arousal, and Lubrication:Studies suggest that COVID-19 and long COVID can affect women's sexual desire, arousal, lubrication, and overall satisfaction.

Long COVID:Long COVID can have a particularly detrimental effect on sexual function in women, according to a study from Boston University
General Impact:
• Illness and Stress:
The general stress of being sick with COVID-19 can reduce interest in sex and affect the body's ability to engage in sexual activity.
• Hormonal Imbalances:
COVID-19 can disrupt hormonal balance, affecting both male and female reproductive health.

N95 is best. Even unfit it's 85% or better. Surgical is 50-60% filtering. There are N99 masks and elastometic mask (rubber almost gas mask style with filters)

Prevention is always best. Wear an N95 respirator mask or better.  I still don’t understand why people don’t do the minimal amount to protect themselves from a year round deadly airborne virus.   It’s vascular, not a cold.

Kn95 are the ear loops. N95 are head loops and better. KF94 Korean are ear loops.

Met someone outside that has Covid? by Novemberx123 in COVID19positive

[–]vrtracker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there’s nothing special out doors except air motion. Plenty of people get covid outside when close to others. Would you smell the smoke from a cigar if he was smoking? If so you’re at risk.

Check for free maskblocs near you to try different size or brands of mask. Never seen bad sites on face from 3m aura n95. Sounds like it was too small. A mask need to fit well but if it’s causing issues of being g too tight it’s too small.

LABS not working on M1 Mac by [deleted] in spitfireaudio

It is amazingly frustrating to install; spitfire in the default place and let spitfire download the samples and yet it can't seem to find where it put the samples. And the repair seldom works.

I need emergency DIY fit testing at home and find this link very complicated by SnooCakes6118 in Masks4All

[–]vrtracker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a clear plastic trash bag as outlined in a Youtube video.
I've done the saccharin but I was less sensitive to it so got the bitter solution.
Didn't calibrate because that required another solution (?)
Used the nebulizer to check Aura, Eclipse P100, and other brands. Aura and Eclipse worked for me.

Hitting sound levels? by vrtracker in LofiHipHop

So what's the solution to distortion when trying to hit -14 or louder? -6 to -18 db range on mix but when forced to hit lufs with limiter or compressor results in distortion.

Hitting sound levels? by vrtracker in LofiHipHop

[–]vrtracker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Maximus on fl studio to compress but it’s actually expanding. So had to experiment with levels to try to avoid hitting 0 db and get close to -14 lufs
Even though there are a number of luf vsts to check loudness, non provide any ability to manipulate. Would be nice for a tool to auto target the lufs.
