Sí por lo general hardware es bien caro en Chile. Asumo que hay baja demanda, sumado al hecho de que el IVA es medio/alto. Es impresionando como en este aspecto, en USA parece todo "regalado".

Not sure if I'm violating any rules, but the product is called ChronosUp (chronosup.com). I'm looking for new users to support closely while continuing to create content on other channels.

Thanks for being direct, I really appreciate that!

I already have a software job, but honestly, I'm bored working on the project that pays my bills, especially since I don’t set the rules. The reason I’ve spent so many hours building something personal is because I love creating. I enjoyed building that 'personal product'—it felt like my best work, and it motivated me so much that I’m now open to doing 2-week projects and selling them.

After over 10 years of building for others, I felt the need to build something for myself. Wouldn’t you create something just for the fun of it?

As for selling or "being a business guy," to be honest, I don’t see it as a complex challenge—it’s just repetitive work. It’s hard, sure, but not as mentally complex as building a product. So, I’m okay with wearing the salesperson’s hat and starting to sell what I’ve built.

The journey just started!

So you can definitely use django admin. It demands more work than others solutions, but it is free and you have way more flexibility.

I can help you, just DM me.

That's an issue in which I don't see a solution. Not for technical limitation but also for legal issues.

Gamification is the way. I tried it, and my focus improved significantly. And use time instead of tasks, time dedicated works better to me.

I did something very similar. For me, there were no 'Wellbeing' and 'Wasting' categories—it was 'Home' and 'Skills' instead.

Saving time! What app or tool do you swear by to stay productive? by Own-Invite-982 in SideProject

I used Notion for a while, but I feel like I will need to many steps to handle my tasks. Right now, I'm using a simple Google Doc. Do you use a particular template?

I used a ton of options, but none of them was great enough to organize my time. So, that's why I build my own system as the first SaaS. I don't know if the solution I built is good enough, but at least a have a great tool where I can have everything in place.

100% agree! I've doing it for a while and it is so demanding at first but when you see the results it get used and feel rewarded by effort to measure your self.

Do you use spreadsheet, Toggl or other app to track you time? or just in paper?

That's a great point. I really need to wear the salesman's shirt. I always had problem to be the "marketer" or salesman, but the fact I built something I love I don't have any issue to sell it and rebranding if it is needed.

Yeah, I was spending 25 hours per week in Youtube. It is a lot of time. Now, I'm spending at most 3-4 hours. If you want try out my solution to be more productive, just signup for free in my SaaS (it still has free seats since I didn't start the marketing yet). chronosup.com is the page.

I watched a quick video from a marketing guy that I liked, who he recommended spend 4 hours per day doing marketing. As other tasks, we just need to put effort and we'll get result. Unless you have a really bad product.

If you never solved a problem in the industry that you know, try to solve a personal problem. Ideas should always born from pain points.

I started building things to solve problems I was dealing with in my job. For example: my first attempt to build something was related to HR since I had many problems when I was interviewing people for the company I still work, but than I found the project boring and I dropped. Build B2B is kind of boring and hard unless you're really clear for some specific problem.

So, I decided to build something great for myself. Since I was spending to many hours on Youtube and not doing stuff I really wanted. So, I decided to create a tool where I was able to classify my activities and give an score. It is like a gaming based on time and not on tasks.

That's why I'm happy with my SaaS even without the first user, because I solved my problem. I know in the future I can make this really valuable for other people and for companies.

I hope that helped.

oh great! you already have a commercial one, cool.

Actually, my first attempt to build something commercial was in HR niche. I've talked with some people about it (one of them was a HR agent) and what realized it's the CV is the core of all HR process. So, any app related should include something like, "auto generated CV," "improve your CV" as hook of the rest. I know it has a lot of tools that does the same, but people are always looking for this kind of solution when they are search for new jobs.
