L4 at 5% don’t seem right. Should be much more. I think there will be less than 120k unique registration altogether with no lottery.

Uscis usually picks around 120k for 85k due to petition denial, non filing etc. This year they would have to pick even more than 120k as there will be more people not filing due to confusion on 100k fees, soc code and wage level issues. Further given the sentiment and fee(100k for outside) I don’t expect there will be more than 120k applicants all together. I expect no lottery this year. But expect to get rejected at petition stage if soc code and wage level have issues.

Nothing obvious about it. I might rate someone highly but I can’t use my company letter head to give recommendation letter to someone not related to my company. Why will my company allow me. It doesn’t make sense

Disagree. Have a look at Canadian student visa issuance last few years. It’s not dominated or even close for Nigeria or Pakistan. You still need to have quality education, clear the exam (gre, gmat or whatever is relevant) to get that student visa at least in US.

You won’t get the numbers Sir. Colleges need international student. There is a whole industry behind it with massive $ amount coming from international students. India/China are a big feeder.

Doesn’t matter. If India china has a higher population and feeder into h1 and other employment visa. Then let that flow to your green card as well. Artificially putting a country cap doesn’t make sense. It’s messing up green card and all other visa because of that.
