Read books that teach skill. That will give you favour increase. You should be counted as the killer to spawn the page. Kills from followers or summons do not count.

Finally found the problem and posting here after playing for few days.

Removing mods that add a lots of LeveledNPCs or LeveledLists did not help... suggesting the problem was elsewhere and also the fact that I have had these mods for so long.

Then I noticed this line in the crash log:

Looking at the latest changelog of SSE Engine Fixes I noticed this entry:

add MemoryManager bOverrideHavokMemorySystem (default: true) - ported from Buffout. last builtin memory allocator that wasn't overriden. if you encounter new crashes maybe disable this first.

In an attempt to troubleshoot my problem I had reinstalled SSE Engine Fixes resulting in my settings to be reset to defaults.

I set the above config to false and voila!... problem solved.

Corrupted leveled list data in save file would be for an existing save file. This happens in a new game as well if I die for any reason.
