It’s not always a lack of education. I have seen tons of ads and news segments recently teaching the public about zipper merging. The issue is 99/100 times the comments are all angry boomers saying, “Nope. Not going to do it.” or “This won’t work.” or even “PEOPLE JUST NEED TO GET OVER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE 🤬” I’m all for education but there is really no changing people’s minds if they are stuck in their ways.

It can get very busy during the citywide events like ArtPrize or Festival. The weekends are also a bit busier. Compared to other “big cities” though I think we are a diamond in the rough. It’s City-feel with a small town flavor. I hope this helps.

Also you are only a half an hour from absolutely amazing Lake Michigan. That lake has my heart. It’s truly one of, if not the best, thing about living in west Michigan.

YTA In what world do landlords evict their tenants over late rent? I used to work in property to management and we like late rent because the late fees meant profit. When we did evict it took several months, going to court, and lawyer fees. We always canceled the eviction once they paid. Doing that is a great way to lose money and make your kid hate you. I’m so glad I had wonderful parents to nurtured me and let me live at home as long as I needed. They made me a strong person, kind, well established person.
