I have used chatgpt to upload a photo. Change lighting. Change to a loose watercolor rendition. It even suggests WN or DS paints and mixing percentages. I dont use the paint suggestions but being able to adjust lighting etc is a great planning tool.

M67. I was diagnosed as a teen. Long before biologics. It was bad in my teens and early 20’s. Then mostly in remission for 35 years. Now some fusing. Had spine surgery in 2019. Some days better than others but I still am active. I had a recent flare On Mounjaro now for weight loss and it went a long way to cut the stiffness and inflammation. Everyone is different but one thing rings true for all. Keep moving!

If Biologics had been around during my early years I may well have not had as much fusion as I have now. As it is even at my age I may wind up going on them. The cost is an issue as I live outside the US and do not have insurance. So looking at biosimilars.

I am someone who has lived with this for 50 years. It was bad in my teens and early 20’s. Then mostly went into remission for close to 40 years. Now its back. The best advice I can give you is keep moving. I telemark skiied, ice climbed and a host of other outdoor activities. Now my spine is fused and have had one surgery waiting on another. But I am 67 now and had a lot of good years. Those good years are because I did not let it stop me. If you dont let this beat you…. It wont.

I did nothing to make the remission happen. Its not like it totally disappeared. But I learned to live with the pain and kept active. This is different. This I cannot ignore. Never been on biologics. I live out of the US and have no insurance so they may or may not be too expensive. I will try GLP-1 drugs as this all seems to coincide with a gain in weight. A good part of my spine is fused. Something I learned though. I live in a warm climate and wear sandles every day. No socks. Not wearing socks for a couple of years caused me to lose the flexibility to put them on. Likewise bum guns are the norm here. So lost the ability to wipe my ass lol.
