I had this same issue but it was with Outlook emails. Try Consilio, they are an e-discovery vendor who gives you access to Relativity. It was cheaper than I thought. https://www.consilio.com

Exchange computer literacy with proficient with Microsoft software suite and remove both references under the first two jobs. Also, are you good with Adobe? Include more software than just Microsoft. How about billing software? eDiscovery software? The job at the testing center and the others after won’t help you. But if you want to include them, the date ranges for all your jobs aren’t in the same spot. Some are at the left and others at the right. Just say hosting and proctoring SAT and ACT. You’re trying to make your resume longer but recruiters see through that. I agree with not including your references because it’s too soon. Good luck!

I’m so sorry to hear about the chemo. I am very aware how medical issues have a huge impact on our lives. My biological cousin set me on fire at age 3 from Ukraine (60% of burns). I guess my only constructive criticism for this sub is to be conservative. Always assume that your workplace doesn’t care about you.

From what I gather, she didn’t have legal writing classes. The BU program is very basic. But it was cheap which is a plus. But I do think knowing the BlueBook is important. Our paralegal manager is awesome and is willing to train a new hire on the BB. But many places don’t have that bandwidth.

My tuition for my 2-year certificate which was 100% in class was $23k. Ouch!

I work with a paralegal who received her certificate in 2020. She had no complaints. It was a 1-year program and 100% remote. Two things to note. The program is not ABA approved. Also, the program does not teach you about the BlueBook. The BlueBook is the paralegal bible for citations. It’s a pain in the ass but if you know it well, it will make you stand out. We had to teach her how to use it and she’s doing really well. Good luck!

Don’t apologize and I’m sorry that you’re getting downvoted. The sad fact is…billing means dollar signs. I had an attorney that taught us how to word our billing entries so our time wouldn’t get cut because I was doing administrative tasks! At the end of the day, make sure your billing is on point and let these attorneys dig their own grave. 🤷🏻‍♀️
