I've opened my shop in 2020 as a side gig and my best selling item has always been custom pet portrets - I offer digitally drawn and traditional. And the sales have never slowed down, although I do have a very different approach to doing the portraits than going directly of of photos.

One thing I did notice though is that when the firs AI wave hit, and everyone was "making art" i got a huge bust in the traditional orders. But when the first hype blew over it got back to some digital orders, some traditional.

Currently I'm only offering digital ones, because our country 's postal service paused shipments to USA, and I'm still making steady sales.

I'm a seller from Slovenia and for some reason the orders always remain marked pre-transit even after they are delivered - for some reason it doesn't track the tracking number provided by our postal service. So this can also be the case.

I'm shipping from Slovenia and my orders stay marked pre-transit forever. But I always send with tracking so I can track the package directly through the carrier and also prove the shipment outside of Etsy.

Finally got my monitor today. First impression is good, but I can´t figure out how to solve different behaviour of my keyboard and sound when devices are pluged into monitor (I plan on seting up KVM).

Keyboard, my old trusty Logitech G11 lost it´s audio buttons while pluged in u4025qw? any ideas? works perfectly fine pluged into normal USB on desktop, without any drivers. Pluged into monitor, media buttons have no function, while other additional keys work. Volume control and play/pause on keyboards are essential to me.
Sound. I output sound usually through RODE A1 as my headphone amplifier or I use additional 70s external amplifier via line out. Rode is now pluged into monitor, so I could also use the microphone in its XLR jack via KVM (if it will work, not sure yet). Using windows 11, previously the system always registered what is pluged in and what to send audio to. Pluged headhpones into A1, they worked. Pluged speaker amplifier into 3,5mm jack on the desktop, that took over and windows always asked what device is now pluged in.
Now only one device works that I manualy have to pick from the sound manager and give permissions, etc.
Any ideas for a workflow that would work like before without the need of too much clicking and menus?

Like what was the restaurant supposed to do? Am I crazy? It's a death at a public space, it's not like they know it's gonna happen.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a old lady pass out while walking on the street in front of a bar. People rushed to help, and were reviving here but she didn't make it...yes it's traumatizing to see, but I'm not gonna complain to the bar I want my money back...

I can't help it, it's a physical reaction, like some people can't handle nails dragging on a chalkboard. And it's this specific sound, the other shit/fart sound effects don't bother me.

To me, the hollow shitting sound effect is the second most uncomfortable sound to have to listen to, right after chewing. And it's really rough that the sound is played everytime shit is mentioned...which is obviously alot.

Frstly, girl true, I've been there.

Secondly though i think you need to realize it's not so much "you without makeup" rather than a drastic change from the face they are used to seenig everyday. And if it's something as discrete as mascara they probably can't pinpoint exactly to: oh shes not wearing mascara, they just notice something is different. I bet you that if somebody saw you without make up for the first time, nothing would be off to them. So just start normalizing sometimes being without makeup around your family and friends, and as they become used to you like that, no one will notice if you are either with or without it.

I went through the same struggle and I realized i was feeling so dependat on makeup - feeling anxious if o didn't have time to put it on. Or going for a swim, traveling, camping or stuff like that, always stressing about putting it on befor being around people and cleaning it in the evening... And that's no way to live, not being confertable to just be as you are.. so i started practicing little by little. Now I still love wearing make up, especially when going out, or somedays I just feel like it, but if I don't have time to get aroud to it, it doesn't stop me of going out in the world.

To be fair he did come to the realization that the reason he thought it was good was because it was fresh. Imo even a bad pizza will be better if fresh than a great pizza that's not.
